luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Referendum on dialogue in western animation because sorry it can *all* sound like this man 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 06/10/2026RE: Jacob Geller, the one thing I scratch my head about a little is how often I’m seeing that he’s very clearly grown and changed and I’m not sure where that’s coming from? I can’t recall any major work he’s done about sexual violence beyond maybe charity streams? 2100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I’m sorry but was he just holding a breath the entire time because the University was forced to disclose its sanctions list 6 years ago 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 01/10/2026They’re trying to brute force discourse about Fortunes Weave but let me tell there is none, the game even adds points for Rhea AND Edelgard 001
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Every other hero based games does ship baiting through character voicelines meanwhile Deadlock doesn’t just outright tell you they’re banging, they’ll tell you that they’re freaks too 010
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Remember when video creators used to call their stuff shows. Like they weren’t The Retro Gamer, they were davebob256 and the videos were called The Retro Gamer 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 24/09/2026I think the reason people are being thrown off by the boom of AI in fan games and rom hacks is that there’s an assumption that programmers attempt to understand their code and make it legible for others to understand 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 24/09/2026One of the downsides of Nintendo being so tight lipped with their developers is that I’ll never get an explanation on why they decided to fill Fortunes Weave with some of the best black and brown character designs of all time. 120
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Quite fond of Fortune’s Weave and its gameplay so far, only complaint is that the Live 2D portraits look weird with the little neck lean that Fire Emblem Portraits have 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Anna Overwatch is genuinely one of the strongest character designs ever put into a video game 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I’m learning that the famous Reddit horror story about random staircases in American National Parks introduces the nefarious upside down staircases in a later chapter 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 13/09/2026When I was younger they used to just make Bollywood movies about weddings. It’d be 2 and a half hours about straight up nothing and then two characters, who may not even be the main characters, just got married at the end 110
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Saying Avatar Seven Havens not is feeling Asian is a bit of a showing your ass moment I’m afraid because the show is clearly leaning towards Indian influences 030
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 10/09/2026You may not think it but everything happening with Sony right now can be traced back to Days Gone coming out and people collectively going “What?” When the game landed very normally as a normal game that was very normal 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 08/09/2026I am happy the Ocarina of Time remake is only 2 months out because I know the discourse is going to be insufferable 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Cosmic horror isn’t actually a real thing is it, it’s just a thing in video essays no? 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Apologies to my friends as I’ve now become a dude that sends music I make to get your opinion 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 03/09/2026See the trick with Pro-Wrestling is that the industry is deeply conservative and filled with sex pests but one specific company screams it from the rooftop so everyone else just shuts the fuck up to present themselves as the better option 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 03/09/2026No actually I don’t want Monolith Soft to be the lead on the Ocarina of Time remake, I’ve seen how yall treat studios who work on remakes. 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I didn’t wake up today deciding I needed to learn music theory, I came to me in the evening instead because I thought I was having a nice day and needed to ruin it 110
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 01/09/2026They need to give that Hathaway boy a bald cut and a cold bucket of ice 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 28/08/2026“Climate change is a series of disasters filmed on phone until you’re the one filming it” is a bit of shit quote to be honest 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 20/08/2026I think making YouTube videos where you just have to hope that another YouTuber will find your stuff, cover it and make more money off of it and trickle down some growth to you is a bit depressing 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 18/08/2026One of the interesting things about animated stuff featuring more non-white characters is that occasionally there’s rift in fandom based on lived experience and it just cannot be squared. 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 16/08/2026Are Kairi fans sane because I think “We have Sora and Riku so we of course need someone else, Mickey” would make me just go for a walk 200
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Oh man I’m so disappointed that Yshtola, Nights Blessed is the #1 commander, such a boring generically good card unlike the other two top commanders, The Ur-Dragon and Edgar Markov 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 12/08/2026It’s really odd how The Legend of Korra just keeps mentioning fire benders as the perpetrators of a bunch of random crimes and it nevers mentioned at all 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 10/08/2026If you enjoyed Obsession you’re not actually allowed say anything, you sit in a circle with all your Obsession friends and just take turns saying “Bear is the villain” 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 05/08/2026I deeply appreciate Deltarune because I don’t have to read about CRT pixel art anymore. It’s just understood to be a different thing now. 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 04/08/2026I think Transformers is primed for a come back with young audiences, here’s my pitch: South Asian girl with red hair attends a school that had a dueling club 010
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 01/08/2026I'm not one to believe Hollywood conspiracies but I do fully believe that Disney is flooding the field with XMen news because they only just realized they cancelled every Marvel project with a black lead(Except Panther) because they bought into the right wing culture swing that didn't fully happen 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 26/07/2026Finding out people hate Witch from Mercury is crazy to me because that show already starts at 7/10 to me because the mechs are mostly hand drawn. 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 19/07/2026I watched a few Japanese Disaster films and it’s actually staggering how often a single piece of Japanese media is seen as subverting troupes until you watch anything else and realize it’s not particularly unique 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 17/07/2026Man remember that trend where people would go on tours to just do lets plays with a live audience, is that still a thing 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 16/07/2026Love a lot about Breath of the Wild but I think I enjoyed the bit before it released where the reviews were dropping and the game getting insane scores. It’s incredibly fun to follow something like that and then actually play it and agree. 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 15/07/2026Actually incredible that an Indian guy is the co-lead in The Odyssey and no one brought it up at all, smoothing sailing for that guy 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 15/07/2026Everytime Assassin’s Creed is in the news I gotta see clips from Unity for its parkour because the characters are raw bread dough and not worth talking about. 010
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 14/07/2026Last back of Tropical Jolly Ranchers is done. I will now enter hibernation until the next bag merges. 210
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 12/07/2026I have to wonder why the people who dislike GDQ so strongly don't run their own events. You're telling me in the half a decade I've heard about it apparently sucking so much no one can make an alternative? 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 09/07/2026When are the podcasts that farm Reddit stories going to start GirlDinnerDiaries 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Amazed at that article about Supergirl where the writer is upset he can’t show his 10 year old daughter the movie because Supergirl is drunk and swears and not because it’s about SEX TRAFFICKING 010
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 05/07/2026I think there’s no term that’s more revealing than “co-worker music” or “co-worker TV”. 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 04/07/2026Listen it’s a fun fact but I don’t know how to tell you that the ability to cast Zettaflare doesn’t actually mean anything in Final Fantasy. There’s a salamander with a lantern and a knife that can fuck you up too 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 01/07/2026Has the tumblr sexy-man gone extinct? Are we too irony pilled that we no longer appreciate a skinny fictional white man with dry wit? Not a world I want to live in to be honest 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 25/06/2026If you think about it Wonder Woman is the highest level of team up character 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 23/06/2026Pokemon Games used to create a Legendary called Fried Fish and then have to create a guy with a Deep Fryer to put Fried Fish in the Hard Crust mode that was better for competitive for every game after that 110
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 22/06/2026House of the Dragon is a combination very clear logistical issues in putting together the production and also very bad writing 000
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 16/06/2026I have a friend who likes to play League of Legends during pride month, but not because he’s gay or anything, the game just lets you have pride flag color trails when the match starts and he likes the ace flag 010
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 14/06/2026It’s one of those things that can’t every happen post E3 and with how big leaks are these days, but Resident Evil 7 started its marketing by having a VR Demo called Kitchen at Game Expos, no one had a clue it was a new Resident Evil game for a while 100
luca @lucaisluca.bsky.social · 12/06/2026Okay but fr every year there’s a batch of really strong horror movies from surprise talent that does well it’s just a part of the genre it comes pre-installed 000
