Do I have too many cockerels this year? Totally. But this lil mini guy is so cute! I call them the Butters (2 pullets) and they are otherwise quite aloof. I like that they are maturing as slowly as their standard size breed. Freeloading cuties.

over here in ADHD day off back to school land.... Pip is having a marvelous time. I did not find the bag I wanted in the closet. onto operation clean my bedside. Half a dozen titles to dust and one is clearly barely started. 2 are looking good- I can't remember last time I picked up a book.

Made a cordial base over the week but had to get a move on some jam because we're out of freezer room and the oldest fridge berries were starting to go. Whoops. Apparently should pack them in sugar and go every 3 days. Purple stained things include cheese cloth, my fingers and several chickens

Kintsugi does not have a ton of stamina. Some sort of nerve issue. Currently enjoys shoving self into cinder block supporting coop. Mouthy in a strong way and seemed happy to get scooped tonight. Accepted being tossed into the coop but tromped out with everyone else too. Adult hens seem to ignore. Matches well with all the bantams for size.
