Science communicator and fidget knitter. Sometimes I try to combine the two. Views expressed are my own.

I feel so seen!! 💕🧶 "Screen-free craft spaces have become medicine for gen Z. People love to use their hands for something bigger than themselves and value the time they spend away from phones and computer screens.”

I hate the term “Wintry Mix”. That should refer to a yummy hot chocolate drink, not this sleety, snowy, icy mess.

Quick break from the #AAASmtg to tourist. Boston is very pretty from atop the tallest tower.
A white man wearing a gray shirt, a while woman in black and flower print wearing a backpack, and a stroller with a gray cover pose in front of windows and a view of Boston from very high up.

I feel like at a science meeting i should be knitting something science themed, but all I brought to the #AAASmtg is a shirt. #SciArt #STEAM folk, what should I be working on? #KnittersOfBluesky #KnittingHelpsMeFocus

Let the fun begin!! Excited to be at the #AAASmtg. If you're also here, I'd like to connect! (Especially if you're a working parent. It's very intimidating.🫣)
Name badge for the AAAS annual meeting. Top had the meeting logo, followed by a pronoun sticker, green star, and blue bar marking me as AAAS staff. Stickers below say "more of a comment than a question," "fact- checked and verified, " and "a scientist of many cultures."
