Remember when I said I understood the basics of perspective? I lied, but now I have a ruler, so that's a win.

LowercaseB @lowercasebee.bsky.social · 25/10/2025

I've also tried practicing perspective. It was kinda hard, but I think I understood the basics of it, maybe, probably. Please don't look too closely at my wonky lines >.< I didn't have a ruler at the time. I think I would like to give it another try soon to see if I actually got it.

I'll post some of the stuff I've actually liked from what I've been working on these days, so you can see what I've been up to. I found a post on pinterest about facial expressions and I thought of trying to draw them. I would've saved the post, though...

A bunch of hand-drawn facial expressions.

So, turns out yesterday was Ado's birthday. I just want to say that I got to go to one of her recent concerts. It was actually one of the first concerts I've gone to in my life. It was inspiring. Like really, really inspiring. I would like to be able to thank her someday.

Hiya! I know I haven't been posting for the past... *Checks notes* 5 months!? I kind of have been distracted. I've kept drawing sort of regularly (like once or twice a month), but I just kind of forgot to keep posting my progress. I'll try to remember posting sometimes from here on >.<

Hiya! Sorry I couldn't post anything yesterday. I was out of Internet for like the whole day, but I kept drawing, I promise 😭 Just as promised, here is a full body drawing of Levi. I wanted to do just a normal reference, but I got carried away, lmao #oc #art #beginnerart #ttrpg #ttrpgoc #ocsky

A pencil drawing of a woman with freckles in full plate armor. She is charging towards the camera while carrying a sword with a blank expression.

Just as promised, here is Natsu Natsuake! This is one of the first sketches that made me feel like I can maybe draw. I drew it just a day after I drew Reina and Yuuki. I wasn't able to draw much today, so I hope I can draw lots tomorrow. #oc #art #beginnerart #ocsky #sketchbook

A bust drawing of a girl smiling made with colored pencils. She has long pink hair and pink heart-shaped pupils.

I also drew this other sketch the same day as the last one. I don't think it turned out as good. Drawing the hair was kinda hard since I don't feel I'm that good with hairstyles at the moment, but I feel kinda proud of this one. #oc #art #beginnerart #ocsky #sketchbook #reimina

A bust pincel sketch of a tan teenage girl smling. She has long wavy hair and a heart-shaped cowlick.

Today I haven't been able to draw that much since I've been playing Pokémon, so here is a sketch I made the other day. I wanted to practice how to create volume with shadows and I think I like how the hair ended up looking. #oc #art #beginnerart #ocsky #sketchbook

A pencil sketch of an androgynous teenager girl with a melancholic expression whose bangs cover her right eye.

I've been an art tutor to tons of kids. Some come to me with some ability/good fine motor skills, some don't. "Talented" kids that don't draw are rapidly outpaced by average kids who are committed to daily practice. That's why talent is such bullshit, dedication surpasses natural ability every time.

I think I haven't mentioned yet how much I like TCGs, but today I'm entering my first #PokemonTCGpocket tournament! Although I'm used to playing tournaments for other TCGs I'm feeling kind of nervous. Hope it goes well 👊

I feel like I can only get to sleep less than 3 hours or more than 11. There has to be a sweet spot in between those hours, but my body just refuses T_T

"What floor are you getting- nevermind..." OCs: Romina and Reina (belongs to @lowercasebee.bsky.social) [ #art #meme #oc #ocsky #reimina ]

A colored sketch of two high school girls with crutches over a picture of a real elevator with the caption "imagine being in an elevator with them". On the left, Romina is hiding her face in her hands and screaming, while on the right Reina looks at her dumbfounded.

Heya! Late night update. I wanted to redesign an OC I used to play as in an Anima: Beyond Fantasy campaign. Her name is Levi Falconshield. In the campaign she was a knight wannabe who tried to restore her family's honor and become a real knight. #oc #art #beginnerart #ttrpg #ttrpgoc #ocsky

A pencil bust sketch of a woman. She has a short bob and her bangs cover her eyes in a way that makes her look angry, although she is smiling.

A bust colored pencil drawing of a woman with freckles and big round eyes having half of her bangs pulled back by someone's hand. She seems shocked.

Hand practice! I don't know if I'm getting better, but I think I'm getting somewhere. #art #beginnerart #sketchbook

Two pencil sketches of left hands. The one on top is doing the peace sign while the one on the bottom has spread fingers.

A nat 20 should never be a automatic success outside of an attack in Dungeons and Dragons and I'm willing to die on this hill. The same goes for a nat 1s >:c #dnd #fightme

Judge me based on my commanders!!! Lemmie Judge Y’alls as well!!! I'm kinda new to MTG, but I always like playing humans in every game 👀 #EDH #Commander #MagicTheGathering

Hi! I actually didn't plan to post anything else until tomorrow, but my pancake @theanonace.bsky.social told me about the power of B O X E S so I wanted to practice a little bit more before leaving it for today.

A poor attempt at drawing a nondescript person by dividing the body in segments.

A pencil sketch of a hand drawn by dividing it by segments. The fingers are bent in a pose similar to the Rock and Roll sign.

Few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I made some OCs. There are some draws I do. I really love the first one, its probably my favourite. Their names are Imaizumi (black hair) and Akira (pink hair).

Hi there! I'm b. I'm currently trying to learn how to draw and I'm planning on documenting my progress here. Don't expect to see high quality drawings from me yet, but I plan on staying consistent until I get there, so keep an eye on me until then! 👊
