I hate talking on the phone. Right up until the instant I need to speak to a remote human to help diagnose a complex problem they are trained to solve. Then I love talking on the phone. I’ll smalltalk and work out jokes while you click-clack on your computer and get me a resolution. We’ll be BFFs.

I complained about robots and AI and the death of customer service on the fb and was told no one wants to talk on the phone anymore, but the wait time to talk to a human on the phone is always 25-45 minutes so I think in some instances yeah we do. Please hire a human to answer in those times. 😊
