This super-cute booktique opened today near me. It's good to see books and bookstores consistently thriving. Fuck book bans and those who ban them.

No doubt. And when you figure out that some of those people don't think at all.

I once had a Boston Terrier I absolutely adored. She loved car rides, so I thought it'd be cool if I had a convertible for us. I've wanted a drawing of that thought, so I had ChatGPT create this image then had it animated. I still miss that girl. #BostonTerrier #pinkconvertible #AI

Ugh. It has been awhile since I last posted. Amazing how much has happened in the US in just three weeks. How's everyone doing? What a 💩 show.

I had ChatGPT create a recipe for Lemon Blueberry Chia Pudding that's diabetic-friendly. Might need a little tweeking but not bad. #vegan #diabeticfriendly #diabetesmanagement

Since oats are out for breakfast, I've started eating Kit Hill unsweetened vanilla plant-based yogurt. It has 17g of protein per serving, then I mix in some protein powder for added protein. Then I add some berries. Looks kinda gross, huh? LOL. It's good, tho. #diabetesmanagement #vegan

1/2 a baked spaghetti squash with 1/2 cup pasta sauce, an Italian-style tofu marinated in an oil & vinegar mixture (thx, ChatGPT), a sprinkling of nooch (nutritional yeast). Fairly inexpensive, easy, & so good. ~22g protein & 31g carbs. #diabeticjourney #foodporn #vegan #foodphotography

I bought some Lion's Mane mushrooms at the local farmers market on Saturday. I've been seeing where people pull them apart and fry them like chicken, so I decided to give it a try. I don't eat a lot of fried foods, and I don't like mushrooms, but I'd eat them again! #food #vegan #foodporn #mushrooms

Fried Lion's Mane mushrooms. Really good!

My message is simple: DO THE THING! Even if you're afraid, do it. Step outside of your comfort zone. You've got this! No shade to MO drivers, but y'all don't know how to drive. 😁 #LoveTracie #inspiration #motivation #dothething #KansasCity #BeBold #BeBrave

In her book, "Big Magic," Elizabeth Gilbert talks about chasing curiosity. This is one of my favorite quotes. The video is my own. I had just left Dallas and was on the way home to Kansas City. Seems appropriate. I highly recommend this book for #multipassionate creatives. I gained many insights.

Sometimes, I use ChatGPT to discuss things, and sometimes, it gives me better advice than most people do. If you're struggling, or if you feel like a failure, or if you just need some encouragement, this one's for you. You are not alone. #LoveTracie #inspirational #therapy #keepgoing

As multi-passionate creatives get older, we should abandon the idea that we need to master one thing as we were taught when we were younger. Creativity is not a linear path. #lovetracie #multipassionatecreative #multipassionate #creativecommunity #over50

No school here again tomorrow. It's been snowing all day. We started out at 0 degrees with a –18 windchill and never left the lower single digits for a temperature. I'm working on my online presence, including my freelancing sites. I'm coming at things from a multi-passionate creative angle.

While I believe that it's more important than ever to keep up with what's going on locally, nationally, and abroad, I also believe in protecting one's peace and giving the nervous system a break from constant "breaking news." Be kind to yourself. Self care is a rebellious act. #selfcare #Self-Love

This snow day was a much needed, rarely taken self-care day. I made vegan corn chowder for the first time, had ChatGPT help me create a recipe for peanut butter peanut clusters for one with ingredients I had on hand, and made zucchini fries that I devoured before I could take a picture. #foodporn

A blast from the past. Found in a high school textbook. I remember the days we had to write our names here, and that book become ours during the school year. These days, almost everything is online, and students carry all of their stuff instead of putting it in a locker. Books stay in the class.

People are saying that everything 47 touches, crumbles. He was for the Chiefs – no surprise since the Hunt family and many others on the team and/or spouses are m@ga – and the Chiefs looked like a bunch of rookies. He's a desperately dark omen.

Food and other recalls don't stop just because the federal health agency communication has been paused indefinitely. I came across a comment that mentioned this app - Food Recalls & Alerts - where you can check to see what the current recalls are. Seems to be up-to-date.
