my dream is for crypton to commission me for one of those miku illustrations that they use and reuse over and over on like, posters and calendars and stickers etc

I have since listened to the entirety of Constant Companions, and then the entirety of Bittersweet, and most of Autumn Every Day, plus some more; I think in terms of pure vsynth this still applies, but Dyad might be one of the best songs ever written in general

would anyone be interested in a game of "two truths and a lie"? I'll start 1. I have a degree in a subject that is completely unrelated to and useless in my current profession 2. One of my past designs has a model made by someone who's also worked with ironmouse 3. I'm divorced

there's a lot of easter eggs in the background of the colorful stage movie but there was one in particular on the back of a bus in one scene that was honestly such a deep cut it jumpscared me, I can't stop thinking about it

I see Concat - AI as less a "feud" with an eventual victor but just as a Column A - Column B of varying upsides and downsides and I think they can both be discussed better once we feel less of a need to take teams.

This summer, we announced the first generation of first-party voicebanks for the software. Meet Sayaka, Jinshi, Sorane Mako 3510, and Kikyuune Aiko 3510! These voicebanks will be the first to release exclusively on Mikoto Studio, along with a number of starter libraries. (3/4)

Sayaka, a quadrilingual AI-powered voice library for Mikoto Studio. She'll be capable of English, Japanese, Indonesian, and a fourth language that will be announced later.

Jinshi, a quadrilingual AI-powered voice library for Mikoto Studio. He'll be capable of English, Japanese, Spanish, and a fourth language that will be announced later.

Sorane Mako 3510, a modern take on a classic UTAU voicebank. She is being developed in close collaboration with her original creators.

Kikyuune Aiko 3510, the fourth member of MiSingers generation 1. Announced on her 15th anniversary, Aiko is making her commercial debut on Mikoto Studio.

I think "I wish that I could fall" by JamieP is legit one of the greatest vsynth songs ever written

btw while we're all here on #utau / #vsynth bsky, I would like to suggest that if you're an UTAU/DiffSinger user and want to get away from Fandom Wiki (and find UW2's technical issues difficult to navigate around), might I suggest UTAU Repository? We're ad-free! utaurepository.miraheze.org

I think in 2025 I'm going to try to contribute to at least one vocal synth zine, I've always wanted to be closer to the community but I have a really hard time being the first person to reach out
