Still a little short on submissions, so I'm going to extend this one to anyone who's made a significant move - so that could be to a different state or region of their country. Americans eligible for a Fast Travel episode? It happens!

Chapter 1 is concluded. It is officially dubbed Marathon Ready (with safety saves). Watch out games committee (once we get a good record)

Today, we have a goal. Too much work is needed to get StarCraft into Brighton, that's a next event goal. HOWEVER, We have all the tools needed to complete a Chapter 1 run of Warhammer: Dark Omen, so tonight I will be pushing for that and if we get it. We're submitting!

Lovenji Gaming @lovenfloofen.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I've always wanted to go to Brighton, thrilled it is going to be with ASC. We're looking for runs still, but also hosting volunteers! If you like what I do and want to try your hand at it, apply!

I'm getting asked a lot about the new StarCraft. Dude, I don't know, I am an RTS guy and this one isn't an RTS. I can tell you that landing 3 rax in front of zerg with no stim, combat shields or tanks was effing stupid. But I'm also not the first person to even say that. So.

020

Lovenji Gaming @lovenfloofen.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

We did do the StarCraft stream and I think of the 11 Terran Levels (10 + Bootcamp) we submitted for 7, and level 3 doesn't have an IL. The problem with getting this marathon ready is that the remaining 3 Terran levels are HARD. So pivot to Protoss (shorter) or keep grinding... hmm...

Introducing: Barky McDouchebag (Also known as Theo). It's his 2nd birthday and he won't shut up about it. Mostly because people (me) keep exciting him about it.

I've made it a goal to get a Strategy Game Speedrun into an ASC event. The problem now... is I have to learn some. There are worse problems to have I suppose.

I am curious what other people believe, do you think that you can be an expert if you have low skill? Let's take the RTS, a genre very close to my heart. Say you know a lot about the game, you know build orders off the top of your head, you know unit counters, you know most correct choices to make

I get asked somewhat often before a big tournament match, or a big work presentation; "How do you stay so calm?" The truth is I don't. I spend up to 48 hours prior going AAAAAAAAAAA and then just style it out on the day. There it is. That's the secret to eternal life.

Not that I'm an avid or active streamer, but I've sort of reinvented myself a lot lately the last couple of years. Had a real low point in 2023 but the support of friends old and new showed me that damage done can't be undone, but it can be healed.
