Ive realized making fun of things for being "so retro" or making fun of people being into very surface level stuff has sucked the fun out of a lot of pasttimes for me. Ive started to miss when I was a teenager and being openly into nintendo and anime was a cool novelty.

The only reason First Food Shop is in non-standard tuning is because that song was for a game (didnt come out) and the other composer had detuned the entire module file I was working off of because that was like. Their thing they did in all their music. It added a lot to that track imo.

The bitcrushing/compression on the drum samples in ristar adds so much to the percussion in those tracks, the snare especially. Its really punchy.

I think something I appreciate about newer horror fan media compared to the creepypastas I grew up with is that the people making this stuff have realized that trying to sell someone on a legit spongebob horror experience is a fools errand so they usually go for an unsettling atmosphere instead.

The sheer amount of things that were cut out of the final release of Sweet Home is absolutely staggering, just going off of prerelease footage and unused content it looked even more ambitious. I love the game as is but I would love to see a world where the game as originally envisioned was produced.

Please stop asking for a FM version of Razing Core. It cannot and will not surpass the original, all the music was tailor made for PSG. It would also take up so much CPU you have to redesign the game just to accommodate it. Anyone asking for this does not appreciate the work I put into that OST.
