He introduced ideas to the Zelda series such as the Zoras mask, Wolf Link, and even a Navi like fairy companion... Epheremelda. The parallels are unmistakeable; this mangaka inspired elements in the N64 games that became emotional and iconic moments.

In more exciting news: A comic arrived! I believe it was originally serialized in Nintendo power. I'm in it for the art and alt storylines, looking for tattoo inspiration in the long future. The mangaka is behind Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Cyborg 009 and more.

I'm still visiting the gardens; my browser is crashing trying to post at full res, or photoshop being open is ruining things. I am working on several digital projects; moving photos and such. I do love the flowers. Summer isn't over, yet.. #photography #flowers #chicago #garden #noAI

I've been using Instagram posts and moving them to highlights for easy viewing. I guess you need an account to view them tho. You can try anonyig.com/en2/ and just search lovelain.digital to see posts. Highlights don't link to posts there tho. This is freeing webspace for me, idk how insta works rly

I am very much an amateur photographer. BUT I am learning about shutter speed, manual focus, exposure, lenses. Insta helps also since I get vignette and more brightness adjustment there for free, but just an idea - AI could have fixed this but I did it by hand lol. My camera is partially analog.

This photo was an exercise in Photoshop with #noAI, which I hadn't done in a while. Before the tech of just "finding the best shot" this is what you had to do (to get both in focus, no blinking). So I'm a bit prouder of this edit in post, just using warp, smudge, blur, and lasso. #apothecarydiaries

There was also a completely unrelated post I was reading about Björn Andrésen being the inspiration for Legend of the Galactic Heros, Castlevanias Alucard and much more. I find these kinds inspirations for games very endearing. I mean, Link is Peter Pan after all...

There was a rumor that the remake art direction is inspired by Japanese puppet theater. Which I am running with because Star Fox had similar puppets; and look at that remake! Combined with Miyamotos mini gardens, I totally see the vision. In fact, I like it more now. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thr...

The first image, this 2b was marked as Adult Content (likely by the poster). This second image, Motoko Kusanagi was NOT marked as Adult Content. It's just so confusing lol. The first is PERFECTLY SAFE, the 2nd is def suggestive (it is censored but shows a lot). It feels wrong to report art, but cmon

Dang not so much about the movie huh. Well, I have to remember Nintendo is in the business of selling experiences now (creating memories). Remake looks great. Smart QOL. What I got was a given. The rest was kind of random, lol. Don't worry, TP VC and SS HD will def happen.

I keep rewatching the clips I took of this, I mean this has to be so fun to play. I wasn't even sure when the guy on the keyboard was playing. Even he was jamming and signaling his pause. None of them missed a beat. Out of everything def the most interesting track to see live imo.

Partially why I'm being whiny about this is today is I've found a lot of transposing. You don't have dyslexia if you do this a lot. In fact, you're being sabotaged. My Hot Topic Twilight Princess Hoodie from like 2007 finally lost its zipper clasp... sadge... still has the hood string though!! Need to fix a few hoodies :(

I'm wearing a Zelda Hylian crest patterned black and grey hoodie next to Drephen the Melee Sheik player at Fullbloom 2024 (I think). The hoodie is from when Twilight Princess came out, sold at hot topic.

Visiting parents. I'm not sure when this was taken, but it's my first cat. It looks like a painting in this tiny frame. She was older than I was. I inherited a purebred showcat, a Persian tortie from my extended family. I was probably 7 and she was probably 10. We let her outside occasionally.

Unquestionably this movie is about visuals over good story pacing. The art of the world and characters, as well as color choices, made for a very enjoyable watch for me. The juxtapose of cute with a darker premise was lovely. The homage to works like Utena and Tezukas own Phoenix were wonderful.
