Conival and Ben More Assynt yesterday. Weather worse than forecast, it rained for the most of the day. Huge relief when it cleared up for the last hour. I got some lovely views back to the hills and it allowed my clothes to at least start to dry out before I got back to the car.

The afternoon turned out nice, so a walk with my sisters dog. That boy loves a standing stone. 🤣 It was so quick and easy to get here by public transport, I think I’ll come back on the next nice day to climb GoatFell. Can’t wait to see that trig point! #Scotland

Been on Skye for a few days. It could not have rained harder. Did I see the sights? No. The cloud level was about 3m about sea level the whole time. Still, ate great food, walked my sisters dog and swam in the sea. No complaints. I love you Scotland! #Scotland

Late post! Went for a walk on Friday to enjoy the fantastic weather. Spring had truly sprung, and the walk started with a very warm steep climb! 😅 I was able to have a wee lie down on the grass at the summit and bask in the sunshine. Perfect! #Scotland #HillWalking #Munro #SlowMunro

Well, today wasn’t THAT much shorter than yesterday, at least it’s didn’t feel like it was 😅😂 Also, not much of a view! Wee overnight camp in very cold conditions. Stayed in a campsite so I bring a large amount of extra layers. Worked perfectly, solid 9 hours sleep 😴 #Scotland #Munro #SlowMunro

What a day! I love a long walk, not too steep… this walk was basically perfect for me! Crampons on for the last couple of hundred meters, the snow was crisp and hard packed, made for easy going! Pure pure joy 💜 #Scotland #Hillwalking #Munro #SlowMunro

Not bad weather today, quite windy but stayed dry, so no complaints. This was Ben More and Stob Binnein, from the south. Which gave a really lovely approach to the hills. Still steep though 😅 #Scotland #Hillwalking #munro #SlowMunro

After so much good weather my holiday has obvs coincided with some (much needed) rain! I’m straight out on dry days and was rewarded with 2 trig points & lots of animal friends. I snap a pic of the trig points I see, need to get a wee scratch map or similar #HillWalking #Munro #SlowMunro #Scotland

Another beautiful day for walking. I really enjoyed Cruach Àrdrain and Beinn Tulaichean. Though my sunglasses were nearly blown off my face on the way down, more than once 😂 When I’m out walking people often tell me how big my bag is, I present to you a quality packed lunch!
