Hegseth giving in to the Russians just shows how weak the US really is.

Donald Trump Is 'Greatest Threat to World Peace,' Germans Say in New Poll
Skepticism of Trump among Germans may also be the result of a broader mismatch between American attitudes toward Germans and vice versa.

Yup, his handling of Putin is almost certain to extend and enlarge the conflict in Europe. Once Europe is in flames, China will make their move and then it's World War 3. I have been doing pressups in preparation ✊🏼

The sad truth is, a number of Labour voters are looking at Reform because Farage offers them a nice easy solution to all their problems.. immigration. The true problem is much larger and more complex, we need to re-imagine society and capitalism so that wealth is shared in a different way

It's fine to joke about being pissed up when the going is good, but a bunch of drunks presiding over decades of failure just isn't funny.

Yes, after 9/11 and the US' allies, UK, supported its military. It used to work both ways 🤷🏻‍♂️ Trump and Hegseth will go down in history as appeasers of Putin so when he comes to grab the next chunk of Europe we know exactly why.

When did the US become so weak? Clearly China is already the World's leading super power. They have allies everywhere, soft power, and enough military might to make Hegseth pee himself. It's time to start learning Mandarin in Europe.

Agreed. And notice the difference when the migrants are white and fleeing Ukraine, suddenly those folded arms are open. We should welcome all migrants no matter where they come from or what they look like. The UK's problems stem from global capitalism not migration. Reform UK are closet racists.

This news is a warning to anyone who is considering voting for Reform UK. Opposition parties find it very easy to crtiticise the government but when they take control their criticism does not make them effective policy makers. We need a government that is not in the pocket of party donors or the US

In the UK, Ofcom is a good place to start since they advertise links to Twitter and Meta on most mainstream TV stations. Since these stations do not warn viewers that these sites could manipulate them, it is clear breach of Ofcom's rules www.ofcom.org.uk/make-a-compl...

You are totally correct, it is no wonder Musk and Farage want us arguing amongst ourselves when the real crime goes without discussion. Inequality of wealth is the issue because according to the modern system profits are more important than people.

AI should be balkanised and completely in control of the government (citizens) where it operates. The UK should be extremely wary of using US technology going forward. It is time to set up our own systems, create our own industry instead of giving our tax money to US corporations who will abuse us.

If only they had used all those millions that we saved from Brexit and invested it in British business. Either there was no money or they didn't, the "Innovate" funding scheme is only fit for large business. Meanwhile China knock out an AI app with a handful of programmers. We could have done that.
