"Repost with a recent photo to return some zen to everyone's timeline." my orange dingus 😺

My orange tabby, Jericho, sticking his head into a leather boot in search of a mouse toy (he flung it into the boot on purpose to give himself a challenge). His ears are poking out. There is a laundry basket full of towels to the right and a plastic cabinet full of art supplies to the left.

python without scales spotted at the #gr #reptile expo – what a rare find! 🐍💎✨

A ball python with black, grey, and white patterns along its body, sort of like an Oreo milkshake. The snake is coiled up in a clear plastic container. The python has no scales, but instead has smooth skin that's cold and somewhat fuzzy to the touch. This is a very rare thing for snakes.

had a friend stop by for a visit this morning 🕷️☀️

Black, dark brown jumping spider with lighter markings on its back and legs. It's on a white wall. The spider is a lot smaller in person.

went fly-fishing with my lady and this BIIIIG SAWMBIATCH just sauntered towards us 🐢🐢🐢 i've seen many turtles whie fishing but never one this huge -- guess that's what happens when you spend all day chomping on bluegill 🐟🐟🐟 #herpetology #herps #turtle #reptile #terrapin

A large Cagel's map turtle swimming in some greenish lake water. Its head and limbs are dark with white stripes, and its shell looks as though it's covered in a thick layer of light-green moss.

My gf and I went fishing one evening, and this lil guy kept chasing our lures 🐢 I think this is a painted turtle, but I'm not entirely sure; I know it's likely a Midwestern species. #turtle #flyfishing #fishing #herps #herpetology #paintedturtle #nature #river #reptile

this Cricket Frog greeted me while i was out fishing tonight 🎣🐸 it blends in real well with the rocks & wet sand, even i lost visual momentarily. caught a bluegill right before 🐟

cricket frog on some rocks. its skin is rough and looks like it's made of pebbly sand. it's very small, less than 1"×1", with tan skin and some brown speckles. its eyes are black and shiny.

my lady and i were scouting for a few parks nearby that have good fishing spots; lo and behold, a Fowler's toad!! they're most commonly found in the midwest, specifically Michigan and Illinois. 🌎 tried to get a selfie with him, but the dude hopped off! 🐸 happy trails 👋🏼 #herpetology #toad #herps

here, friends; have fun with this! 🗨️🦎 #art #doodle

a cartoonishly drawn gecko, with the words 'What is the lizard saying?' next to it. above the gecko is a large, blank speech bubble taking up most of the page. the drawing was done in blue-ish teal colored pencil.

this is probably one of the most IRL accurate picrew things i've done so far 🤯 have fun y'all 😎 picrew.me/en/image_mak...

picrew rendering of an androgynous person with light tan skin, wavy/curly dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, septum and vertical labret jewelry, a blue beaded necklace and a gold pinstripe sleeveless button down top over a white undershirt. the rendering is over an aqua blue background that has a slight gradient. this picrew generator was made by DJARN.

quote with a non-religious photo that you think is holy. (i couldn't decide between all the many wonderful options in my photo gallery, so i chose a character instead; the holiest character i can think of to miraculously have in my phone at this very moment) cheers 🥂

two headshots of Xavier Renegade Angel (from the animated show of the same name), both pictures are kind of blended together. Xavier is some kind of brown-fur bird beak nosed anthro man with long dirty blond hair with one beaded braid, heterochromia (one eye is blue, the other is brown), thick eyebrows, and (not pictured) a snake in place of one of his arms. he's usually wearing a loincloth and a necklace as his primary wardrobe. he always seems to have a cat-mouth shaped smile on his face.

that definitely narrows it down! 👍🏼 while i was zoomed in on its face, i noticed on top of its head, there's a pattern/texture closely resembling that of a Ruben's sand lizard, aside from the tail texture and one long bendy toe on each foot. the case of the Mystery Lizard is close to being solved 🔎🦎
