Something from the Polish section of my film fridge. The NB01/NB04 was introduced as an alternative for the well established Fotopan and from what I've read it was considered poor quality even back then. But for 40+ years past date (1983) this is not bad at all. #believeinfilm #filmphotography

Will always remind me of the morning after a friend’s wedding in Montréal, when we were at a McDo’s eating breakfast and it was on the radio. We had a great time, if just an overnight. Though I did learn that the city isn’t really any better than here on my 🏳️‍⚧️ experience.

I was equal parts flustered, flattered, and “can’t you tell I’m Kathleen’s girl??”, but it did make my day when a (nice, non-threatening) person behind me on the bus tapped my shoulder and showed me a note on their phone that they found me “very very pretty”.

One hang up I have about queer Canadian history is how the 1969 partial decriminalization is discussed. It is often discussed how 1969 didn't really decriminalize homosexuality but my issue is how the bravery of Everett George Klippert is so often erased from the story.

Having let it sit in a cabinet for four years, I’ve been wondering if my Yashica 635 is going to behave. The shutter at 100 seemed sluggish when I set it aside, but playing with it this morning, 100 *seems* fine (?) now. I think after work I will sacrifice a roll of Potsdam to find out for sure!

For my midweek roll, it was all about just using a camera, developing film, and sharing the results, whatever happens. That's how I try to combat the malaise I slip into here and there. I also wanted to see what would happen if I treated a roll of RPX 25 as Retro 80S. #BelieveInFilm

A photo from the inside of a garage, but the outer walls are missing, letting us look through the studs out into a back yard There's an open door, painted yellow with sheet metal art of a landscape on it. At the bottom of the door, lego bricks of carious colors are scattered. On one of the joists, a shell necklace is draped over it. Near the bottom of the image the corner of a newspaper is visible, on the left side a drawn blind covers a segment of the studs, still open to the air. Behind that is a lawn, with glimpses of a bike, classic rotary hoist, and lawn chair all visible through the studs.

While we "borrowed" one or two earlier, I cannot for the life of me find photos of our first owned, but it was an ALR portable/luggable/"lunchbox" 486 DX/33 w/ 8MB and a caddy CD-ROM and a SoundBlaster Pro2. We replaced it a few years later with a beige Pentium 133 with 16MB running Windows '95.
