We're so lucky in East Lothian to have lovely community facilities. In Prestonpans, the Pennypit Centre is an absolute gem offering learning and leisure activities for all the family. They currently have a plant sale, grown right here at the council-owned nursery. M & M Munchies cafe is ace too!

Continued... On the last Thu of each month The Big Pick alternates between Pennypit & Port Seton Centre. Stock turns over rapidly. When I was there I saw loads of baby clothes, maternity and breastfeeding clothing. This initiative supports local organisations and the environment - support it!

Look out for ducks appearing in a puddle near you...

Five small plastic ducks and one larger one in a puddle. The puddle reflects Preston Tower, Prestonpans which also appears in the background.

The ducklings have drifted to the puddle margins and rest beside the grassed area.
