A gigantic problem with all of the hardware being consolidated in data farms is that, when the AI bubble does pop (it will), the only way to be productive with existing software will be to rent from the neo-feudalists that now own everything. Consumer hardware supply chains and inventory are gone

Frankly, I’m flabbergasted. Waging trade war on a China that definitely doesn’t need us didn’t soften him up? I would have thought the fact bilateral tariffs incentivized Chinese companies to just find and establish customer bases that were previously less profitable elsewhere would’ve done it.
