we got it sorted. now I'm gonna have to find a way to scan the pages I need without ruining it...

copy of the August 1986 edition of Animage, still (almost) in plastic packaging, with accompanying Sing Songs booklet aside.

(the plastic got slightly caught on the tape protecting the whole thing and ripped very slightly, but the contents themselves are undamaged. phew)

using the same version of Davinci Resolve (18.1.4) until the day I die because the timecodes on the edit page are cut off at the top for some inexplicable reason and it's driving me crazy as long as I can edit at all, I guess I can't complain lol

screenshot of the timecode on the edit page for the timeline of a video I can't remember, with the very top cut off for some inexplicable reason on Resolve versions above 18.1.4

awful picture (as always) but I bought new eartips for my current pair of IEMs since I was noticing they weren't sealing all the way and wow these are real comfortable. they grip like crazy though. good practice for pulling out. of what, you might ask? if you don't get it, don't worry

Dunu S&S eartips

very tube-shaped in comparison to other IEM tips being more conical. IDK what kind of silicone goes into producing these, but I think I've touched onaholes at grown up stores with less stick to them. that's. not a bad thing, though.

can barely tell a difference with the soundstage, if anything I think it's improved slightly for me because now they actually don't have the compulsion to fall out of my ears when I brush my hair back. not bad (but fitting them onto the Truthear Hexa nozzles is a pain)

my OCD kept getting set off every time I'd knock an obi off one of the albums on my shitty CD rack, so I bought some jewel case sleeves and wrapped my small collection back up in plastic extreme? probably. but I like the uniformity

was talking with a friend about this a few days ago - the anime girl mascots on some old releases I used to listen to were truly iconic. I still think about these on the regular, ngl

3. I apparently hit the buttons on my SDVX controller with enough force that I actually cracked one of them. this isn't even the result of gamer rage. the best explanation for this (after opening the whole con up) is that the spring actually got caught and the kinetic buildup just cracked it
