I have been mastering my new art videos in 8K and it gives a tremendous amount of detail.

When you actually know what you are doing with years of experience and can read code easily, it allows you to enhance and extend a lot easier, so I wouldn't say software engineers are vibe coding just because they used a modern tool. but I am just a guy who has been coding almost 30 years.

The saying "Vibe coding" is a lazy way to describe the actual process involved. It is used as a buzz word to describe what people don't understand. There are people who don't know how to program using these tools. It just adds another layer of abstraction. Compilers are really what create the code.

I enjoy making short experimental animations with code. It is a good way to spend my time because I am left with something afterwards that I can look at later. Versus burning my time watching TV.

I try to be explicit and word things with how the final code is going to work. Not use abstract concepts but actually how I would implement the code myself. It is very good at finding bugs in massive amounts of code.

ACMXVK update: added an optional built-in Photosensitivity Mitigation pass. It runs after the shader chain, reduces harsh brightness/contrast/pattern intensity, supports SDR/HDR + headless rendering, and keeps the full effect available when disabled.

Added to my program an option to include a photosensitivity warning if your shader is intense and needs one. This should make it easy to notify people if your code has any flashing light or triggers.

I ran my ACMXVK shader/filter work through another creative pass, then kept feeding the results back into my own effects. The images started turning into alien architecture, fractal galaxies, and cosmic vortices.

I love video games but I am better at designing and programming lower level systems than making actual games. Ahh who knows maybe some day I'll make something more than just a demo of my game engine. Props to all the game developers I see on here that takes a lot of talent and creativity.

I make artistic clips because I find it enjoyable. I know it's that popular a topic so I don't expect much feedback. Still I like scrolling through videos I have created and watch my process evolve.

I think I have a weird sense of humor.

This is a parody video game I made a long time ago. This version of the game uses shader effects.

I spent some time this morning working my Parser when I am writing by hand to help me practice. It is the perfect project to work on for this, because it makes me think and have to solve problems. It is on my GitHub although I am not very far along.
