Issue 5 of my zine series is now available in my Ko-Fi shop! ko-fi.com/lostfoundbla... I examine the connection of Black rappers, their alignment w/conservative political figures, & what it truly means to 'make it out' when the conditions that oppress Black folks collectively remain intact.

My interpretations are my own and should be understood as critical analysis rather than definitive claims about any individual's beliefs or intentions.

Last but not least this zine is NOT an attack on hip-hop. The music genre remains one of the most important artistic and cultural impacts Black Americans have created. My critique is directed toward the values rewarded within its commercial evolution and the broader American society that shaped it.

Jay-Z has been a hot topic lately bc of his recent concert in NYC. I have a zine I'll be publishing soon called "Mama I Made It" that features him. I basically talk about his faux activism and how he thinks Black capitalism will liberate Black folks even though it only benefits him. Stay tuned!

The evolution of Lost & Found Black Child issue 1 The left one is from 2025 and the right one is from this year. I didn’t have a printer last year so I had to use Fed Ex for the left one and I was just testing out how it’d look as a physical copy. I am proud of my progress 💕✨
