I really don't like how codex is now intercepting copying text from the terminal and messes with the formatting it used to copy the bullet points - those are in the actual output why does it need to control how you copy?

in the last couple of months, there's been a flood of websites asking for connections to local apps or devices if you're tired of denying them, disable that prompt entirely on: `chrome://settings/content/loopbackNetwork` (or brave:// - etc) which disabled the popup entirely

while it is awesome to have and does fit into MeetingDebrief perfectly.. ..I have to be honest that adding live dictation was also a selfish quest to have less apps and less models running. 😅 I used Handy before (which is awesome), but it was loading the same model MD was..so this is efficient 😊

A lot of videos you see that are presenting a product or a slideshow are just websites btw you don't need fancy video creator tools, just create a website that shows the animation you want, tweak it to perfection, and use puppeteer/ffmpeg to record it into a video

I'm on a fiber connection with ~500Mbit and decent pings yet youtube always auto selects 360p for videos that have tutorials in them, making them unwatchable until I select a higher quality manually I don't get why it does this and how I can fix it, anyone have the same?

I've been slowly adding LLM classifications to incoming emails (support & personal), being very careful about costs and prompt injections but TypeSafes' Jev made me much more confident in just doing it everywhere and I'm hoping to god this'll cut down so much overhead and annoyance 🤞

2 weeks of work, dozens of prototypes, 100s of prompts, all to save MuteDeckers ~1,2s each mute toggle - it's almost instant now, and Teams no longer has to come to the foreground 😊 Teams is so badly architected, making this so hard, but in the end it's worth it just look at the speed of this:

a few friends on the HackUtilities app didn't like the way I designed it, so Fable added a bunch of themes in no time the original design is rather loud, on purpose, so I understand the need for personalization architect your app correctly (components, views, etc) to make these changes a breeze

Superwhisper released a new model called S1-mini that is meant to clean up transcripts it's an expert model that takes a raw ASR transcripts and rewrites it with fillers removed, is aware of self-corrections, and corrects email, dates, URLs, etc. 0.6B params, so it can run locally 😍
