I would like to know why when I contacted your San Diego office about a pest infestation in the basement of 880 Front St, where people are kept in cages, I got a recording that you and staff were at a retreat. So, I contacted the DC office, talked to a staffer. Response was 3 weeks later.

You've caused pain to many by insisting that police, militarization, and mass surveillance are safety. As a San Diego Council member, you could have voted to end mass-surveillance contracts, not increase police funding, and increase funding for resources that actually help create a safe community.

@governor.ca.gov Get ICE out of CA. At minimum CHP could give ICE tickets for stopping people on our freeways. ICE daily takes many people while legally driving on our freeways. There are hundreds if not thousands of vehicles impounded in CA by ICE.
