Happy 40th anniversary to Castlevania! Which means we are coming right up on the 15th anniversary of my concept album BELMONT. So to celebrate, I'm giving out some free bandcamp download codes for both BELMONT and BELMONT 2. See below. Enjoy!

Appreciate the kind words from everyone. I’m going to be fine and will keep working on cool stuff. If anyone needs a video producer, motion designer, or trailer artist. Feel free to reach out! Anyway, here’s an animation of a breakdancing Elite that I did for fun.

This stress-test was done out of necessity (my windows boot drive died, losing a good amount of projects) so it's nice to see what is and isn't possible right now. Love Linux, but overall it's hard to truly trust for pro work. Everything also goes out the window as soon as you have to collaborate.

- The foundation (OS) is more reliable and dependable, but mileages will vary when it comes to the tools available - Pro work on Linux is doable, but not without sacrifices - After this exp., dual-booting Windows (for work) and Linux (for leisure/personal projects) will be my combo going forward

- Benefit of the Linux-based editing ecosystem is that it's viable on old hardware (my mobile setup is a 2012 Macbook Pro that works well enough with proxies), so I don't need to spend an arm/leg on a working mobile setup to use in a pinch - It's nice to not get bothered about edge/copilot/other bs

Tidbits from doing freelance work on Linux / FOSS for the past month and a half: - Haven't had to log into Windows to finish a task - Same workflow is possible but motion graphic options are lacking - Kdenlive is almost there as a Premiere substitute, but performance and rendering times really suck

I'm already one step away, even though I already play 'normal' golf. Bought a cheapo disc just to dip my toes. Can't wait to yeet it into the trees and lose it on the 1st hole

Two of my all time favorite Stanley Cup Finals I've ever watched are 2006 and 2026, with the Carolina Hurricanes winning both of them. Have I been a Canes fan the whole time without even knowing it?

Have tons of projects (some even being finished) that are currently shelved. Most content creation/music work under my name is sadly on the back burner, since I've had to realistically focus on financially viable freelance projects for a while now

Been using a CPAP machine for over a month now, and it's life changing. Never felt more functional as a human being. Turns out, sleep apnea was an insane health debuff At first I was terrified of sleeping with a machine+mask, but yknow, Darth Vader was kinda cooking. Maybe that's why he's strong af

I was recently diagnosed with a couple conditions that forced me to take a few months off to focus on my health. Thankfully I'm finally on the mend, but now I need to de-rust my video editing chops Gonna start being louder on social media with my work 👀 (that also may be taking a left turn or two)

Hell yeah! Yamaha = underrated. Sick designs/engineering on all fronts And yes, low budget guitars have come a LONG way. My current #1 is a cheap but insanely spec'd strat copy (stainless steel frets/roasted maple neck) that I modded for fun. It's turned out so good that everything else might go 🤯

Hey uh... SO I MADE A NEW VIDEO! This is a topic I have rarely seen covered. There are truly lost Nintendo games out there and they are all from a program called the Nintendo Game Seminar. I spent so much time and effort on this so it would mean the world if you could share! youtu.be/6E49DJZUrO8

Just beat FireRed for the 1st time🤘 As someone who beat R/B/Y and caught all 150 pkmn when it came out, this was long overdue. I've historically never liked remakes of games in general, but glad to have been proven wrong in this case. Time for gen 2, which I've never played 👀

It hurts my soul seeing good people who do good work getting caught in the crossfire. I get that there's a lot of anger and confusion during these times, but seeing so much genuine creativity getting dismissed as AI slop is exhausting

I wish I could switch 100% to linux! Are you running Davinci Resolve in Nobara? Sadly the work I do requires me to begrudgingly dual boot Windows alongside Linux Mint on my primary workstation. On the bright side, it gives me separate work/personal spaces on the same computer
