Just beat FireRed for the 1st time🤘 As someone who beat R/B/Y and caught all 150 pkmn when it came out, this was long overdue. I've historically never liked remakes of games in general, but glad to have been proven wrong in this case. Time for gen 2, which I've never played 👀

Got my 1st ever shiny Pokemon in a mainline game during the first 15 minutes of starting a FireRed playthrough 🤯

Sold my car and picked up a 90's mountain bike. First time owning one since I was a kiddo. Here's to a healthier lifestyle 🚵‍♀️

One game down after starting my Nintendo DS marathon. Finished Time Hollow earlier today! It's a relatively short visual novel with a time-travel stylus gimmick. Some dated mechanics hold it back, but it's a neat hidden gem in the DS library.

Been breaking the new parts bass in, and I'm astounded how MEAN it sounds. Definitely sparking inspiration for what's be my 1st cover in a good while 👀

Finally wrapped up this jazz bass partscaster that I've been procrastinating to finish for far too long! Specs: Wenge neck, gotoh res-o-lite tuners, gotoh bridge, unknown MIK jazz bass body, and EMG J set pickups

Been itching to make a video covering my switch to Linux, when time permits. I’d cover pros/cons vs Windows/Mac/Adobe, how it works for my use case (gaming, video editing, design, audio production, coding), what has/hasn't made the jump, and what the future looks like. Would you watch?

The current state of my Linux Mint desktop. I customized it to be a somewhat mac-inspired layout.

I re-made a boatload of thumbnails for my dusty old YouTube channel to give it a fresh coat of paint. I used PhotoGIMP (a modified version of GIMP that makes things easier for Photoshop users) which has some faults, but nothing show-stopping so far.

The last few videos on my personal YouTube channel have been edited with Kdenlive. I've been using it as a stomping grounds to learn this program whenever I have the time.

Super grateful to have a client that believes in me and my editing work despite not getting results with the first handful of videos. Nice to kick off 2025 by making a splash in hockey youtube! Hoping to use this boost of confidence to bring life to personal projects that have been marinating🤘

Niiiiiice. On my end I need an evening or two to set up the linux side of my new build, but the 1st step of setting up dual boot is out of the way. (Begrudgingly have a windows drive for work)

Made it my own. 🤘 Added TUSQ string trees, Lace Sensor Gold pickups, better quality electronics, elixir strings, and dampened the tremolo springs. Now it sounds absolutely killer and punches way above its weight class!

Guitar manufacturing in 2024 has gotten wild. Roasted maple neck, bone nut, roasted mahogany body, compound radius/profile, AND stainless steel frets with rounded edges. Bought sight unseen. No set up work was needed out of the box. Cost me less than 210 USD before tax. HUH??
