spent a few drawing sessions this week trying to figure out a new style for my art

a drawing of two girls - both are fully greyscale except for their hair, one is coloured bright blue, the other a muted purple, they both have thick eyelashes and dark bags under their eyes and chokers. the girl on the left has blunt bangs lying just above her eyes, while the other girl has a side part. the girl on the left is drawn head on while the other girl from a side view

out of a lot of struggle and really crappy experiments where i feel like i can’t draw, these are the ones i feel encouraged by and like things are clicking, and that’s a nice feeling that i haven’t had in a while with art. been feeling stagnant for years now so i think switching things up is good

kind of a dramatic shift maybe? but i’m figuring out a few things i want to start doing/leaning more into: - stronger stylisation, less realistic proportions and details - thick strong lines with varied weight - limited colour palettes for heavy contrast - the grumpiest girls you’ve ever seen

live representation of how it feels trying to draw rn

a drawing of me with my hair in a bun looking exhausted, sitting at a desk with a drawing tablet and holding a stylus. head is resting on one hand while the other is doing the offensive “stick two fingers up” gesture that i think is actually only offensive in the uk?? sound off in the comments let me know

true colours is like. competent. which is fine and all but half the reason LiS1 rocks so much is because it is equal parts enthralling and total fucking ass

why do my beloved dogshit dont nod games have to catch strays here :///

it's why i've been very offline and also drawing fuck all, i had to move for the new job and i'm very tired but! i'm really hoping that i'll get back to it once things settle, and once i'm free of having to write code "professionally" i might finally have the energy to mess about with gamedev again

poison themed woman in hero shooter wins round, poses in her skin tight latex outfit, ass cheeks fisheyed to eclipse the entire frame. she speaks: “hmmph.. don’t get hit by My abilities or a Green Icon will appear”

Putting my artsona in gremlin pinterest fits for daily 1334!

Sketch of a bunny fox girl wearing a leotard, half sweater, and like three layers of socks along with heels. She has a big fluffy fox tail, bunny-like ears, and low twintails. She's also wearing glasses while doing a peace sign.

gotta love something that is so hyper macho that it underflows into being the gayest thing ever conceived

Would you still love me if I was a nerd?

same here! i played darksiders 1 for the first time on a whim earlier this year and adored it, the super kitschy “badass” metal album cover art style really speaks to me lol

010

i think darksiders 2 is unironically my favourite zelda game, i’m playing through it rn and it is so good im kinda gobsmacked

i honestly don't even know where to start lol i just really don't like the art direction they've gone with
