In the last week, I've been whinging about my sore arm (got flu and Covid shots; I think it's the Covid arm) and had two different people tell me "that's why I don't get them!" I had to tell both of them it's damn well better than getting sick. Why do people not get that?

Ugh. Looking at apprenticeships too, because hey, I'm not above learning a new trade! About 95% of these "apprenticeships" are "do the whole low-income job but for even less money". They don't teach anything, they just want cheap labor.

Did a skills assessment to see what careers I'd be good at, in case there was something I hadn't considered that I might enjoy. This is my top match. I feel it might be just a *little* optimistic on the salary.

Thank you so much to everyone who's helped out by sharing or donating (or both!) for my Monster. I've got enough to cover the initial vet visit; next is the hospital stay. He's doing okay; his checkup is on Friday, and we'll know more then. Right now he's in his box. He loves his box.

Took Monster to the vet on Friday, they ended up sending us to the hospital. He has pancreatitis and his liver values were horribly high. They kept him overnight, and his one value is doing wonderfully, but a couple others are up, so they're keeping him more. His prognosis is good, but
