Can't wait to be done with the base colors so I can get to the fun part of painting minis.

Lord Lauri @lordlauri.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I thought it was good because it made a noise when I shook it but turns out it was just a huge glob of partially dried up paint.😂

Lord Lauri @lordlauri.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

The joys of realizing the paint you need is beyond saving. #miniaturepainting

jfc miniature painting requires some kinda muscles I've lost over the years

Mindworks has amazing print quality, these minis can compete with GW's stuff easily. Only death commando was missing two fingers but they're really delicate so I'm not surprised. And it's nothing glue can't fix.

The parcel arrived in Finland yesterday but it hasn't moved since. Gotta love this country's post service.

In theory, it's a good idea to spam smoke grenades on the team. The enemies can't shoot at us. But by the Emp's withered backside, we can't exactly shoot the enemies either. #darktide

For the record, their journey started in Italy before going to Germany and then to the Netherlands.

Okay, maybe next week I'll get my hands on those Heretic legionnaires. They SHOULD be "on transport to country of destination" now.

Lord Lauri @lordlauri.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I'm starting to think the shipping payment was so that the parcel can go on a tour in Europe.

000

Lord Lauri @lordlauri.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Yeah, too much to ask but not because of Finland's post service. It's just taking its sweet time to get here from Italy.

Would it be too much to ask that I get my TC heretics next week? Well, knowing Finland's post service it probably is.

Why do I keep buying and eating these chili cheese snack thingies? I know how it's gonna end every damn time. It feels like I have a very angry dragon inside my guts and it occasionally likes to remind me that it can breathe fire.

My mom and stepdad's dog Veikko left for the rainbow bridge today at just six years of age. He was diagnosed with Cushing's disease earlier this year but the medication provided only a temporary relief and he deteriorated again. A lovely and stubborn husky mix with lots of opinions, taken too soon.
