My mom and stepdad's dog Veikko left for the rainbow bridge today at just six years of age. He was diagnosed with Cushing's disease earlier this year but the medication provided only a temporary relief and he deteriorated again. A lovely and stubborn husky mix with lots of opinions, taken too soon.
