Moving truck arrives Monday, so @vysetron.pixeldie.com and I can finish our cross country move that wasn’t supposed to take this many months and get back to our respective site work. Thank y’all for being patient with us! I’ve been dragging around my drawing board and eking out pages!

The many memories I have of printing out a webcomic post or a fanfic in the morning and passing it around school all day in the days of nokia brick cellphones.

If you do anything even mildly creative and like to share it, here’s the regular reminder to set up your own site that you control. I’ll eventually have loopholelogs.art up and readable by end of year but you can see (my partner &) editor’s game talk work at pixeldie.com.

I only take a little bit of commission work these days and it’s a hard no. For the most part I already know most of my commissioners and how they write tho.

I had to include only one that played at the radio station I interned at while I was there. I did a lot of work during events as well as sometimes folks came in and played live on air.

ER the next day informed my dad (who had to drive hours to get there) “she’s small, so it probably just felt worse” (no xray, no mri follow ups to confirm for issues). Didn’t find out about the “wtf happened to your lumbar spine?!” Until my hEDS-dx’ing spine doc was doing an eval at like 25.

Absolutely agree, I’m near 40 now, I *still* have a no students with sharps rule. I also try to advocate for teens I meet with chronic conditions and their parents to work on having the teen get to know to self-advocate and learn their own care asap.

Do not let them give you the runaround or bury this. Hang in there!

I had an LP w/o the xray, by students. I had *no idea* what I was agreeing to (I was 18/had insurance/uni hospital) and apparently my GP on my case had told them specifically not to do an LP. 30/10 pain. Found out years later they cracked a vertebrae.

Morgan was impatient and apparently gave up halfway thru his wings. He’s trying to make up for it with head tips.

I gotta see if I notice this when I’m inking. I’m so used to the procreate doing shit like suddenly undoing 3 strokes and I don’t know why. Since I still prefer to sketch physically it’s funny when I notice my off hand is doing zoom-pinches to no effect

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 04/08/2026

He could match it to the lovely sparkle job he had for a bit. I could see Crash getting ahold of an RGB glow style to be weird on purpose.

Someone’s lyin cos I’ve been doing it for ages!!

000

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 02/08/2026

Yep! You’ll need a second email! One goes to my main doll email and one to my site email (plus i used the code verification snippet to make the handle here just the website). Then you can login both!

It does! I can swap between this and my IceMutt page easy - I just tend to live here.

Rant over, but feel free to vent my fellow zebras and other disabled folks! I haven’t even TOUCHED on how intersectionality affects my BIPOC and more outwardly queer disabled peers. Happy disability pride month!

000

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 27/07/2026

I already had parking signed off by this office btw. It was a request to pull up the old (signed) form and sign accordingly the update to the current state. Instead since my prev stare wasn’t keen on plates AND plaques I have to go w/o for a few weeks while I message docs here.

100

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 27/07/2026

I’ve had docs say they flat out don’t handle disability accommodation requests. Not for work. Not for service dogs. Not for parking. Not “here’s the office for that you need to go to” - they just find accommodations to be icky.

100

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 27/07/2026

Just a reminder to folks the red tape is still there to make interacting with or receiving the ACCOMMODATIONS we are supposed to receive as disabled individuals as shameful as possible. Make it difficult and embarrassing.

100

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 27/07/2026

Same shit happened with my annual Service Dog forms, I’d be hot potato’d between offices. They all cite that “they’d be liable” but not specifically what for or a law to point me at.

100

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 27/07/2026

To boot, MANY of my docs (pain management, neurology, cardiology - etc) are in the same hospital my pcp is at and share a system. Nah, need a CURRENT employee to sign off that I’m still a mess.

100

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 27/07/2026

I just got to the west coast after near 40 east coast years. While moving my PCP left the practice. LAST WEEK. I saw her in Jan. will not sign off to transfer my parking rx’s (placard, plates) without me flying back to “see a current doc” I’ve been going there about 15 years multiple times a year.

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 20/07/2026

I want to see a rove beetle at all - ocypus olens apparently is around my new home area. I did see this dude today so that was pretty sweet!

000

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 19/07/2026

The amount of “well, I’m not in the high risk categories” being throw all caution to the wind and not a thought for those around was astounding.

000

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 09/07/2026

I’ve been working on Loophole for the last few years for myself. Working on getting it up now - mostly for the handful of friends I have who want to read it.

I loathe starting my drawings on ipad, so this forces me practice it a bit.

010

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 03/07/2026

For once, actually going for artfight rather than missing it for the Xth year in a row. Unfortunately, I lack a bunch of my tools since they’re in the moving box! IPad only chaos reigns!

As the brands shed their rainbows - remember that they do not disable themselves for July. Not that we should trust them if they did anyways. Happy Disability Pride Month, y’all!

I always suggest checking your sites from a logged out location - I no longer have anything Meta-related therefore I cannot see/buy/commission if Insta is someone’s only page.

#makeaterriblecomicday. My hands are spent rn, even for typing.

#makesterriblecomicday falls at a great time for me - i’m in the middle of a cross country move (flights tomorrow!): aching and sore and with only my ipad and no paper.

Panel 1 of 4

Wedge and Rhea presumably watch a movie (“cine-vid”)

Wedge: (annoyed) I’m offended that they used (emphasis) MY NAME (end emphasis) for this guy!

Rhea: (tired) Wedge, this cine-vid predates either of us.

Panel 2 of 4
Rhea getting up

Wedge: his face isn’t even the right shape!
Wedge: Hey, get back here!

Panel 3 of 4
film sounds from off-panel. Wedge listening, interested.

movie line 1: Blast it, Wedge!

movie line 2: Nice shooting, Wedge!

Panel 4 of 4
Wedge sitting back down with popcorn, content. Talking to himself.

Wedge: this guy rules!

I always joke it takes a reverse amount of time to read a comic page from the time the creator put in to make it.

000

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 19/06/2026

I love seeing these two play off each other the last few pages! (Man I gotta do a reread here too thru thru it all 🖤)

000

Loophole Logs @loopholelogs.art · 16/06/2026

Since I'm only here another week, and shipping my pencil pages to myself ahead of time, I'm backing them up with a scan first. Having a cross country move does not help with initial art boards, but at least I'll get some inking time or extra editing while it's in transit.
