As Canadian artists, we love our friends, clients, and fellow cosplay community members in the United States. Our love for our art and our hobby and our favourite shows and games doesn’t care one whit about borders.

I’m reposting this set of warm numbers you can call instead of the police that a friend sent me Cops almost always make the problem worse, so, especially regarding marginalized people in crisis, calling the police should be your very last option. Don’t be the reason someone gets needlessly killed.
Warm Lines that Don’t Calm the police

- Call Blackline: 800-604-5841
Centers BI&POC, LGBTQ+ Black femme Lens

- Trans Lifeline: 877-565-8860 (US) 877-330-6366 (Canada)

On December 31 and January 1, our hotline will be operating with limited staff. Please know we’re still here for you, but wait times may be longer than usual. US: (877) 565-8860. Canada: (877) 330-6366. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in us. 💛
A person with dark-skinned complexion and short-cropped hair, wearing a red t-shirt, holds a smartphone and looks to the side with a smile. The background is a purple gradient. The text reads, "Observed Holidays & Low-service Days. New Year’s Day. It may take longer to reach us during this holiday. We want to talk with you, so please try calling again." The Trans Lifeline peer-support hotline numbers are listed: USA (877) 565-8860, Canada (877) 330-6366. The Trans Lifeline logo is at the bottom.

It's trans day of remembrance where we remember all of our siblings we've lost this year to violence and hate. We know we've lost at least 350 trans and nonbinary people have been murdered in the last year. We honor the dead and fight like hell for the living.
