Today's been rough, it just doesn't feel real, I keep expecting to see her in her usual places.

I laid her to rest in the garden, I built a little Cairn for her. I cannot stop crying. I hate that she's gone.

I've been reading on reddit what could have caused her death and a common cause of death is cardiac arrest, I don't know if that happened to her but it seems likely given the lethargy she had yesterday

My cat, Maya, just passed away, I am not doing okay. She was acting lethargic earlier today and now I found her body near her water bowl. I don't even know what to do.

I can't stop thinking how wrong the tech bros have understood creativity and creators. Or even just having hobbies. #erliart

fur affinity has been running for 21 years, is one of the largest archives of queer art online, and one of the few art sites that has not switched to some kind of infinite feed bullshit and it's being strangled over "adult" art. suspiciously wealthy furries now is your time to paypig for culture

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider “adult content” is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and “barbie doll nudity” to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters can’t be posed or dressed “too provocatively.”

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they’re legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren’t, we don’t touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

In regard to FurAffinity being at risk due to censorship: Furries are now political targets. We are getting namedropped at high levels of government. They know that we are a large, influential, largely queer, community. Fighting for the spaces owned by our community is incredibly important

A lot of people assume FA is profitable. If that were the case we wouldn't have needed a GFM when Neer passed to keep it out of probate. It's been two years. The funds were used. FA is struggling financially. And I am 🌟s t r e s s e d🌟 I'm scared to ask for help, I feel like no matter how much-

Tired and today has been stressful so I'm just going to plug my Ko-Fi adopts again and go to bed? I made like..£28 towards the £600 vet bill, barely made rent today and still need new clothes.. my 1 pair of jeans is threadbare on the thighs and most of my clothes don't fit ko-fi.com/rattie/shop

Visit ShanRattie's Shop!

I've opened a shop. Come take a look!

I got a couple of pairs of jeans but also need a pair of shoes and some new shirts, I also just kind of want rid of these adopts lmao Hoping to have my queue mostly cleared by this weekend so I can try and take some more smaller commissions to cover stuff at least.

This is funny, it really is. However. I don't think I have any "keep politics out of furry uwu" people following me, but if i do, you need to think about this. No amount of keeping it SFW is going to be enough for him. They will make your hobby political, and owning that is our only defense.
