Just picked up a copy of The Shadow of What Was Lost by James Islington. Folks compare it to the Wheel of Time series. We shall see!

Looks like my work music has skewed my end of the year scrobbles, but I'm not mad. Data Rebel, Miami Nights 1984, Mitch Murder, and Mega Drive are definitely some of my top artists on the electronic side of things.

Talk about a retro Christmas. I got a portable cassette player, camp snap camera, and some He-man figures. Erika got a C64 and an Atari. First tape in the cassette player: Labyrinthe by Faetooth.

This demogorgan crunch is pretty pretty good I must say. The lil crunchy bits are waffle flavored of course

Switched back to firefox as my usual browser. I like that you can move the tabs to the left or right sidebar, so now it feels even more compact.

Glad to see that schismtracker works well in Omarchy. And still amazed that I remember all the commands from using screamtracker 30 years ago 😅

on a whim, I decided to try and see if claude could help build a drum machine and I'm kinda blown away. I used astro + react for the ui, and tone.js for the sounds. we built a poly-rhythmic drum machine and it actually works pretty well!
