Celebrate BC Friday with a purchase of the outstanding debut album from The Dead Religion. Made up of my brother & other ex-Kontiki Suite bandmates; delivering their perfect blend of Americana, country and blues. Laced with hooks & harmonies. But it now!😅 thedeadreligion.bandcamp.com/album/the-gr...

#HomeMadeMusic Bit different from me this week. A remix/reworking I did of Down To My Grave by Ironweed (2005) as Audio Suspects, which is a name I used for projects back then (PS2 game music, hip-hop DJing, producing etc) Riding a train to my grave is a fairly final ending! youtu.be/NJ33LdA_2CM?...

#NowPlaying #MusicSky Midlake - The Trials of Van Occupanther Every time I revisit this album, I fall deep, becoming obsessed with it all over again, as it gets its hooks into me! It’ll then be pretty much all I listen to for days, until my wife complains about hearing the same songs all the time😅

#NowPlaying #MusicSky Eels - Beautiful Freak Strong contender for my 2 remaining places in #5DebutAlbumsSF4. I don’t listen to this as much as I should anymore, but it’s an instant nostalgia hit every time that intro kicks in. Second only to Daisies, in my favourite Eels albums. What a catalogue 🤯

William Orbit! RIP 😢🙏🏼 This remix was a huge influence & template for my late 90’s band that were trying to blur the lines between rock and electronica. We were asked who we wanted to produce our album. We said WO. Then he got the Madonna gig so we knew it would never happen! youtu.be/a86Zz3uo16M?...
