We’re disappointed to see that average bus speeds have fallen again and are now at their slowest since modern records began TfL has a programme of measures to improve speeds safely. We need to see these making a difference for the millions of Londoners who depend on buses #Bus

🎈Happy 60th Birthday to Centre Point, opened #OTD in 1966. Seifert's Grade II listed modernist tower was described by E.Paolozzi as London's 'first pop art building', but perhaps it's most iconic moment came in Jan 1974 when housing protestors staged an audacious occupation of the empty building.

The recent very late GLA publication of the 2023 to 2024 Annual Monitoring report 21 is unacceptable. The AMR 22 for 2024-2025 should have been available by September 2025. London Plan KPIs need prompt monitoring. More useful is the Housing in London 2025 report at www.london.gov.uk/sites/defaul...

Most surprising news here is not so much that some London councils (Wandsworth, Westminster, H&F, City, K&C) will be allowed/forced to raise council tax sharply, but that others (Enfield, Newham, B&D, THamlets, Hounslow, Hillingdon) appeared to have done reasonably well. www.ft.com/content/c28e...
