Oh, of course. I try to sign in normally while searching for shit and it's all "Oh you have to provide all this sensitive info". I view an item, click Buy It Now and it's immediately logged me in and allowed me to buy stuff and has now let me set up 2-factor. I see how it is. The sheer audacity.

says you need to log in with biometrics to then set up 2-step that means you no longer need to provide biometrics. Wonderful setup there! I cannot state overstate how shit things have gotten over the last few years with this nonsense.

Good fucking lord. I guess that's my eBay account gone. "To log in provide this biometric information". Which includes drivers licence, passport etc and a live photo. Fuck off. "Don't want to provide biometrics" leads to a nice runaround loop of nothing before asking their AI chat which "helpfully"

One for the hoofers out there. From one of the Regular Show Lost Tapes episodes. :D

A take on the Live, Laugh, Love sign for a certain type of person replaced with Nibble, Neigh, Nuzzle for Horses as a joke from a Regular Show - The Lost Tapes episode.

Yeah, I tried to do the same with our Brexit bullshit stuff. But had to succumb eventually. And now haven't had reason to really do much travel anyway...

Also, that moment when the streamer now gets directed to the Smitizen website by some folks in chat and you have to hold your tongue.

Apparently Nancy Drew games get racier than I'd have thought. (From a streamer playing The Phantom of Venice)

That's essentially 4 suits in a row now I've got that just have major issues with and that I need to get sorted *somehow*, some from the more bespoke/expensive companies too. Seeing everyone else's great suits at the con did, in my own fault, give me some jealous thoughts that I need to deal with.

Lomax Rubber Kitty @lomaxrkitty.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Annoying when the stuff you want to use to get away from all the other issues you have, also have their own problems that they really shouldn't and just demolish my mood.

Lomax Rubber Kitty @lomaxrkitty.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Not helped by my issues with the current crop of suits I have, barring the cow. They make for good static photos. Each time I wear them (especially the ForFun Leopard now) I'm just reminded of the problems with them that kinda sucks the fun out of wearing them & lowers my overall mood for the time.

Been trying to formulate thoughts about the con and it's kinda hard. Con itself is not a prob, nothing against it, it's more myself & my own social skills. So much easier to be open about things on a place like here than IRL. I'm just flat out not good at it & just end up not saying/doing things.

That's the important stuff out the way first. (Don't judge us on the bathroom colour, we rent!)

Maybe I'm getting too into that "old man yells at cloud" stage, but I'm so glad of userChrome.css in Firefox. :D Didn't much care for Photon and as such Nova can get in the bin as well. Modern UI/UX trends are just trash.

So, yeah last ep of this season off Strange New Worlds and we finally got some non-humanoid species! We got a Sord an Aurelian and best of all, an actual canon Catian in M'ress!

That was fun, even if the audio mixing seemed a bit off on this version. The 20min short after it seemed a bit odd too all round, not sure what it was really doing :D

Great, Windows update a few days ago and now I'm getting a bunch of inconsistent crashes. The first time it pointed towards the nvidia drivers which I've updated, now I've go zero idea what it is as nothing is in event viewer.
