In my image research I just found out that Carhartt used a diabetic model for a photo shoot and didn’t edit the gear out (even though it would have been really easy). I’m not a Carhartt kinda person but well done to the art director here.
A shop photo of a young, skinny female blonde model, back view, modelling a red tshirt and jeans hotpants. The blood glucose sensor on her arm is clearly visible.Front view of the same model. On her upper thigh sits an insulin pod.

Does anyone know, what the hashtag ECK stands for? I’ve googled far and wide, couldn’t find it. Seems to have to do with photography?

Treated myself to a venom-style sensor armour by Vital Veil. I’m a firm opponent to the idea that medical aids need to look like medical aids. This made me grin from ear to ear.
A dark purple blood glucose sensor cover encased in a silver, slithery armour that mimics symbiotic growth on my upper arm. The patch behind it continues the design.

My cat and I have created a new ritual where in the dusk hours we both look out my bedroom window and observe the birds, the squirrels, the bats and the hedgehog. I swear this cat does wonders for my mental health.

1st month at new job is over. I still can’t believe how lucky I got, for someone to give me the chance to learn on the job. And to work in a field so close to my heart. And under conditions I get to choose. In these times, I won the jackpot. I hope I can always give back.

Guess what I FINALLY FINISHED in Disability Pride Month!! 👀🙌🥳 #DisabledArtist #spoonie #ChronicPain
A digital illustration of the words' disability pride' in block letters with leaf details, surround by a swirl of plant stems, leaves and flowers, as well as a heart 'flower' surrounded by flames. To the right is a rainbow in the colours of the stripes on the disability pride flag, as well as a vertical rainbow stream up to the top of the page. There are large white flowers in the top right in front of a sun. Dotted around the plants and words are stylised sparkles, heart shapes, and lcouds, in pastel rainbow colours. There is a blue border around the outside but some of the leaves, petals, sparkles and rainbow lines break out of it.

So… this has been unironically posted by an accessibility advocate. I didn’t censor her name, because I don’t know where it is in there, tbh. I see these „flyer designs“ and immediately go: „yeah, I’m out“. Well done on (not) creating your very accessible document.
A typical ai-generated flyer design showing a woman wearing an accessibility t-shirt and tons and tons of information in various, differently structured sections scattered around her that no one would ever bother to read.

Currently learning about training and moderating workshops, and I get so much stuff about activating methods crammed into my brain, that this absolut brain fart appeared between my notes.
A simple drawing of a person next to a cork wall, animatedly pointing at post it notes and moderating cards, in a very similar pose to the meme with the conspiracy guy maniacally pointing at his red thread research board.

So yes, I did go to the cinema to watch The Mandalorian (except for s3 I have a soft spot for it). I would say the amazing score by Ludwig Göransson did some verrrry heavy lifting here. Not sure why a film though, was more like 3-4 episodes.

Hey Bluesky, could you help me signal boost my Big Cartel shop? Jeremy Creatures are designed and hand-sewed by me, and they take many hours to create. Four of the creatures pictured are currently available in my shop. jeremycreature.bigcartel.com
Here's a lovely photo of five of my hand-sewn fabric art creatures. Three are gray stone-like creatures. One of a pet rock with two large black wide set eyes and a big frown. One is tall with fox-like ears, two black eyes of different sizes, a lopsided frown, and a belly button. One is a gumdrop shape with two black wide set eyes, a wide frown, and six twirly tentacle-like wisps coming out of their head. Two of the creatures are fuzzy purple guys. One has golden bulbous wide set eyes, purple eyelids, a wide frown with many sharp teeth. Their arms are tentacle like. They're curling a tentacle over their head. The other creature has bulbous blue eyes, a large open mouth full of teeth, and two tentacle-like arms. They also have a fabric art witch hat they're wearing. The background of the photo is a beautiful galaxy print fabric and the creatures are standing on green fur.

In a training. Today we had some official test questions. They were posed in such an unnecessarily complicated manner, that even with 1st language knowledge no one understood them. Teacher: eh, that’s the way it is. No! This is gatekeeping. There’s no need for this language. Make them accessible!

Meet my newest creations: the Gloom-Wilders. I designed and hand-sewed them, and I hand-embroidered all their flowers, stars, and markings. They're a family of spirits who live in a haunted woodland (haunted because they live there). jeremycreature.bigcartel.com
Here's a lovely photo of my fabric art spirits. There are six of them. The one on the far left is a white spirit with a gray face, seven black eyes, and a grinning mouth full of five sharp teeth. She has two twirly white wisps coming out of her head. She's sitting on a small pink chair. Next is a black spirit with a gray face, large round golden eyes, and purple lips. She's covered with embroidered purple flowers. She has two black twirly wisps coming out of her head. Next is a green spirit with a red face, large twinkly yellow eyes, and an open mouth with two sharp teeth. He has two green antennas with red veins. He's covered with embroidered red flowers. Next is a pair of ghosts. One is white with a gray face, twinkly black, and an open mouth full of teeth. She's covered with pink flowers and yellow markings. She has two twirly white wisps. Standing on her head is a tiny white ghost with a gray face, pink flower eyes, and a little frown. She has two little arms. Next to them is a black spirit sitting on a chair with a gray face, twinkly red eyes, and a little frown. He's covered with white, yellow and purple stars of various sizes. He has two black wisps embroidered with a line of white stars. There's green fur in the background of the spirits, and they're on a galaxy print fabric.
