Fragments of a script? But that is very private - NDI. Elements of their workspace? To induce shame in themselves over the mess, if the notes are relatively scattered?)) Storyboards? Would be interesting to know…

By the way - what do screenwriters actually post? How do normal literary people record the milestones of their work or their lives for themselves?

In my free time sorting through various sketches from the past - and decided, why not share this one? Wolframium tower. Not sure if context is needed?

Trying to get back to work after a… long "holiday"? I realise the local post format does not really suit me - so I am making a small portfolio site, where archiving thoughts would be more convenient)

The second ref sheet for ArtFight - more successful, in my view. I very much wanted to capture the character's mood precisely: the differences between the teenager and the adult; between brashness and insecurity; between the drive for group belonging and striving to stay out of the spotlight.
Reference sheet for Anniet, an anthropomorphic rabbit.

She is shown in two versions: the first at fourteen (130 cm tall, dressed in a T-shirt and shorts), her expression bright with a smile and hopeful eyes; the second at twenty (155 cm tall, in a short-sleeved shirt and skirt).

Alongside the full-body views are portrait studies: for the younger version - front, profile and three-quarter; for the older - a single front view. Both are rendered in warm tones, with a murky brown fur colouring.

…but when something feels interminable, overwhelming or outright impossible, I look at the one piece I'm always pleased with ;) And it helps? Cause "What must be done will be done", right? So, I call this one "Luremistem".
The figure, marked by a woven cowl, metallic embossing on the shoulders, and a gleaming helmet-mask, is depicted lit from above and behind.

Behind the figure's head - a white sphere of pure light.

The rest of the background is composed of metal plates that shift their angle as they recede from the central axis of symmetry.

Woke up late - and spent most of the time that remained studying rhythm. Using Kivie as an example, I decided to work through the zones of viewer attention. I'm rather more pleased with the result than the ref-sheet version… yet it feels like there's nothing left to show =\ A little disappointing…

Going through old sketches, I wondered - perhaps they are more successful in their dynamics? Though, of course, Hesar's mood as a #Denlaw character has changed considerably over the course of development) I should try to catch him in the middle of something meaningful…
A sketch depicting an anthropomorphic lynx in three poses.

First, the character lies on his back on a sofa, face half-covered by a flung-back arm; the visible portion looks weary, on the verge of sleep.

Second, arms crossed over his chest, he stands with his back to the wall. He seems somewhat tense, though he feigns nonchalance.

Third, he is shown squatting, a backpack slung behind him. His right arm hangs loose; his left rests on his knee. His expression is impudent, almost provocative. In the background, a political symbol is scratched into the wall.

Yep) "Spirits and Monsters" served as the foundation for the game - and Johan not only created the art, but also helped write the setting and the entities' behaviour! He's a proper seasoned roleplayer, actually!)) So glad his name keeps popping up!)

Afraid I have to ask for some feedback today. Started drawing #Anthro recently for #Denlaw, but my works seem pale and lack presence or energy; body language feels stiff. Pls recommend artists who convey gesture and pose well in their #OC work! If their designs are restrained too, that'd be lovely
Character concept art, labelled as Kivie.

The canvas depicts an anthropomorphic hybrid of a ferret and a raccoon, standing on two legs. Upright, she is shown wearing a cardigan and lounge trousers, her hair left loose. Slightly bent forward, she is dressed in an outdoor coat, boots, and jeans. Over her shoulder is slung the strap of a tiny courier bag.

The character's fur is coloured grey, with a brown "mask" upon the face, surrounding the eyes and nose. The irises are yellow, and the pupils take up more than half of the visible eye.

In both outfits, a natural "ruff" rises beneath the character's neck.

Honestly, communication on this platform baffles me... It's simply not the done thing here to leave comments or reply to them, or is it just me being weird? =\

It was cold enough today to think of autumn. The last one was very fruitful - yet I have almost nothing to show for it... But the one before, I tried my hand at #Inktober - and there are a couple of sketches I still like. Maybe I should sign up for it again this year?
A digital sketch rendered in three tones. The chaotic hatching manner resembles pencil work.

The canvas depicts a man of about fifty, dressed in a dark coat and a translucent medical gown. His tall, gaunt face wears glasses and stubble.

His right hand, holding a scalpel, is raised in a rhetorical gesture. His left hand holds a training journal.

From behind and above, light from a lamp falls upon the character, faintly recalling a halo from an icon.A digital sketch executed mostly in black and white. The chaotic hatching manner resembles pencil work.

Nearly half of the canvas is taken up by an open doorway, from which light pours.

From the doorway advances a dark figure of a soldier in a chemical protection suit, gas mask, tactical vest, and helmet. Behind his back hangs a carbine.

Behind the soldier, a fire axe drags along the floor, still gripped in his left hand. His right hand holds the carbine's strap.

Playing as a young priest, I thought: many churchmen seek God's love as a parent's love. But relations with a "parent" don't always require blood kinship, do they?

Just remembered sketching this boy because I saw a couple of tasty watercolours in the feed today) In #TTRPG #Vaesen, every character has a trauma and a dark secret. The first is the moment of glimpsing the hidden side of the setting. The second is the consequence of our own actions :^)
A graphic digital drawing depicting a shaggy anthropomorphic fae with feline ears and a feline face.

The fur is rendered with long black lines against a grey background, imitating the movement of water in a woodcut.

In the character's paws rests a disc of an orange-crimson moon, akin to the colour of the character's irises.

The creature grins; behind it, turquoise washes spread like the structure of a leaf.

I could scream when I see watercolour stylisation! Some of your drawings look like they escaped from the Vaesen TTRPG core-book. Have you seen it?)

To finish, I will note: even though I could not take part in the festival as much as I would have liked - I remain in awe of its participants, and I am glad to be part of what is happening!

All those moments I slightly adjusted in my attempt to reflect time for our hero. To reflect the spirit of change. And my central sketch is what that living character is moving toward as he flies off the rails.

I hope I managed to take something from every work dedicated to Hesar as a character. But since, even within a single optics, they all remain in a playful hand - as parts of Team Mistery - I also wanted to cast a little light onto what awaits this character.
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
Though time ran short by the end of the festival, I hope I still managed to convey the same mood in my own language.

Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
But there is indeed something fragile in him: literally one moment that could have turned out equivalent. Something that gives rise both to common ground and to a paradoxical, deafening misunderstanding - possibly with himself.
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
And, of course, the 6th element, just as emotional! The work by ~Silene: Hesar beneath the crown of a tree. I will admit, I do not think Hezzy is the sort who would consciously reach for animals or nature)
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
I felt both amused and touched by such execution - so the interpretation of this attack took up no small space in the informational layer of the collage) Thank you for the moment of spilling mirth captured in the grin of the original work — and for giving Hesar laughter within our shared optics)

Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
And the 5th attack is the work of ~mxrose_x. Without exaggeration - it was a real peak) When my brother drew my attention to the composition, the rhythm, and the emphasis in the construction - I was surprised.

That is why any moment of sadness in this character will inevitably grow into something else - at times unsightly, but always alive.
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
This came about because, in my perception, Hesar is inseparable from action. He constantly reacts, moves: he changes his surroundings and changes himself. Such is his psychotype.
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
That is why two fragments of the collage are dedicated to it - one silently sad, against the sunset, and one aggressive, blurred in hostile motion.
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
The 4th attack was a bit distant and cold version by ~crematores. I am very close to their reading, with its vertical accent in the character's appearance, and that feeling of abandonment.
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
The corresponding fragment of the collage depicts Hesar's self-portrait from the time he first became interested in graffiti. It would be fair to assume that this is already his avatar for a themed forum.
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
The 3rd attack was made by ~LpsGuineaPig. Here the author felt the form - and rendered it as something absolute. After that, I could not shake the wish to try as well!
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
Also, the original had a lovely palette — and before I knew it, it had spread onto several other elements of the collage. Which is slightly embarrassing)
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
From their work I wanted to borrow that same sly manner - and push it a little further. So in the collage, the lad is already posed like "Draw me like one of your French girls", which, I think, suits his habit of mocking the familiar templates of photography)
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
The 2nd drawing was by ~liminalcritter. There, Hesar is shown sitting on a rooftop during a parkour run. The character and the location are captured absolutely precisely, and I am very grateful to the author for such attention.
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
The author caught the dynamics of the character's portrait very precisely - and added decorative little stars, which carry a special meaning within #Denlaw. A fortunate coincidence!)) Thank you very much, ~Beres17!
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
The 1st drawing was made on paper, with a turquoise outline. It seemed fitting to compare it to a portrait that might have been drawn by Hesar's classmate during art lessons.
100
Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
And to close the festival, I wanted… to reflect on those accents. So I tried to render them as values within our shared optics - perhaps, to give them my own small "commentaries". And now I will try to go through each in turn.

Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
This year, the little lynx presented by Kvup received six attacks: by different participants, in different manners. That is deeply heartening. Every drawing allowed me to see someone else's accent, a note of their perception - to become slightly acquainted with something fresh.

Loito @loitoquest.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
Now - my last #Artfight 2026 attack! By all rights, I had a "non-attacking pact" with those I know F2F - for the festival is for meeting new people, is't it? But brothers are meant to fight. And I couldn't leave attack on Kiv unanswered. So, continuing on synchronisation - a collage around Hesar!
A collage on a dark background, composed of scattered polaroid photographs, media player screens, and one paper drawing, creating a slightly grim, surreal atmosphere.

At the centre is a large video frame: an anthropomorphic lynx, concealed by a cap, a hood, and a cloak, turned in profile. He has dark fur and glowing bright red eyes. In his hand he holds an aerosol spray can. The figure is rendered in a rough, hatched manner.

Around the central frame are scattered photographs and a drawing.

In the drawing, the character is depicted with softened, youthful features. Around him fall polygonal star-shapes.

The first photograph shows the character looking sorrowful against a background of sunset and clouds. It is captioned: "With eyes like yours, you can't be this cold."

The second photograph, differing from the first only by the character's wide grin, is captioned with a dialogue: "Like what?", "Like huuh-ney."

The third photograph shows the character aggressive, slightly blurred, reaching toward the camera as if to knock it from the viewer's hands.

In the fourth, someone else, rendered in contrasting scarlet, places a wreath of freshly gathered flowers upon the head of the lynx character, who holds similar flowers in his arms.

The fifth photograph shows the character lying on a rooftop. His pose clearly imitates those from women's magazines, yet it is noticeable that his body is slightly tense, despite the playful face.

A small media file beneath the central frame shows a logo resembling the character's face. It is round - but with sharp protrusions imitating ears.

Whoa! Looks just like a Celtic creature that punishes trespassers on its hill - yet still helps you find your way home unscathed XD Lovely stuff! Can't wait to see the finished piece)

Even though Hesar was presented at Artfight by my brother, I would also like to show the process of my own early search for the vision, as well as what we achieved together.
A sketch sheet exploring the vision for an anthropomorphic lynx character.

The top row shows a transition from a successfully captured, slightly feminine design with braids to the final portrait - a character with blue-grey fur, amber eyes, and a gentle expression.

The bottom row, rendered in rough linework alone, traces the shift from an animal prototype to a fully realised character - a study in finding who they truly are.
