Fully leaning into my time off to spin my little heart out.

040

Allison @loftyloopsyarns.com · 01/07/2025

I finished spinning up the braid in under 2 hours. That may be a new record for me. Uninterrupted time + my EEW + Squid Game makes me unstoppable.

Allison @loftyloopsyarns.com · 30/06/2025

I’m planning to spin the included 100g braid, plus another one I just bought, then ply them with the bumps for a gorgeously variegated 2ply. The spinning bug is back, baby!

Trying to clear some bobbins in preparation for Tour de Fleece and I’ve just finished the 12 20g bumps from Plies & Hellhounds advent last year. #spinning #handspun #yarn

Inside each Calendar, you'll have twenty-four (24) 20 gram mini skeins! Each item will be individually wrapped and numbered for you to open, starting on December 1st. You’ll have the option to add-on a full skein on the same base and/or some fluff if that tickles your fancy. More deets on the page!

The April Color Cube Club reveal! The richness of this colorway was a pleasant surprise and not at all what I expected when I first drew this card. I can’t wait to see how this knits up! The April club is still available for preorder through tomorrow with orders shipping next week! 🥮🍒

Allison @loftyloopsyarns.com · 23/04/2025

The April clubs are all dyed up but the club is still open throughout the week! I couldn’t resist playing around with some Organic Polwarth combed top I had too! I’ll share the final, dried images shortly. #handdyedyarn #spinningfiber

I knit the first sock back in 2020 and the poor thing has sat all alone for almost five years!! I’m happy to finally be making a full pair out of this beautiful striped yarn. It’s also giving Spring/Easter vibes and I’m here for it!

Happy Saturday and Easter weekend to those that celebrate. I’ve got an oven full of yarn and fiber but I’m starting my morning slow with some coffee and sock knitting.

In a non-yarn-related turn of events, I may have some very good news coming my way next week! 🤞

The variegated colorways from the Magic & Whimsy collection. These were originally dyed for the weekly advent in 2024 but wanted to bring them back alongside 4 coordinating tonals. All of these colors were based off some of my favorite romantasy books. Can you guess which ones based on the names?

I’ve been putting this off for far too long! The Advent of Magic & Whimsy from 2024 is coming back as more than just sock sets! 8 colors total, 4 variegated & 4 coordinating colors on loads of bases 🤗 April 4th, 2025 @ 4pm cst

The February Club reveal! These are available in Feb only and will ship at the end of the month. I wanted to keep the blue-grays from January, but added a bright pop of pink for the gorgeous color in the sunset. Layers of dark blue & black speckles complete the look! 🩷

Today was unexpectedly very difficult so I treated myself to an evening of simple crochet ❤️ I love how mindless this pattern is. The only thought is picking colours. Pattern: Little Squares Blanket Yarn: 2023 advent from @loftyloopsyarns.com and some undyed Merino Sock as contrast.

A strip of a crochet blanket, made out of linen stitch. An orange-pink colour, followed by a stripe of cream, then a purple-grey.

Yes! Same! Since starting the club last year, I’ve dyed so many new colors that I wouldn’t normally have gravitated towards.

Just finished my second read of Fourth Wing. Kindle the first time and Graphic Audio the second. When I tell you the GA was SO GOOD: understatement! The sounds of the dragons, the music, the atmosphere… so so sooo good. And I absolutely cried like a baby (again) bc it was heart-wrenching. IYKYK
