Those are spies and assassins for the hobgoblin armies. They typically wear masks depicting devils, and Ayn's chosen devil is a Spined Devil, known for collecting information. 030

When word of Valatar (who had attracted the assassin's guild attention) reached Ched Nassad, Shyntlara dispatched Ilivarra to Waterdeep to keep her cousin safe. 010

A young Boros legionnaire (minotaur bard/paladin) who ironically had been lost on Ixalan when he was pulled back to Ravnica with the Interplanar Beacon. He died tragically on Innistrad, quite early in the campaign. 120

On New Phyrexia, the party found Darksteel armor, and Qopa has retroffited it to his needs. So when we see Tezzeret in EoE, I'm curious how the issue of an indestructible Planewalker will be handled. 122

Qopa is a kappa artificer from Kamigawa. He invented Etherium on his own, and went adventuring on Zendikar for a while. This is an unpolished exploration for his design (2023). 130

His ultimate is meant to evoke Desintegration, his new favorite spell. 110

His familiar uses owl stats, but since River Heralds don't use animals, we reflavored it to be an elemental. The stun ability is a reference to Salas casting Shocking Grasp through his familiar (which prevents reactions). 110

A depiction of Xithrel casting the spell Dark Star using existing card Void! They've replaced even more of their body with Etherium, and integrated in the Pact Weapon is now Luxior, which the party recovered from New Phyrexia. 111

They have also started to replace limbs with Etherium prostheses (in game it allows characters to have multiple magic items in one attunement slot). 120

This one once again ties back to Tezzeret cards (2022) The Etherium Cells are what Tezzeret rewards Xithrel with: they allow them to extend their lifespan (similar to how Gonti has that Aether Heart). 120

What I'm particularly proud of in this one is the ultimate, which you can use right away, but kills Xithrel immediately too, like how Aetherborn have very short life spans. 120

The opening event for the campaign was the War of the Spark, and they all were low level, so the party all got cards in the style of the WAR uncommon walkers. The token Xithrel makes here is inspired by their reflavored Accursed Spectre. 120

Their patron is Tezzeret, so all of the warlock class features and spells are flavored as artifice. This was my initial design (2019), and a birthday present from a few years later (2021). The Izzet thing was a Mizzium Apparatus they found. 120
