frustrated and the frustration is inescapable. sometimes I wish I was a more private person and had an outlet for some truly detached-from-my-current-identity micro logging. thought I could take it out here because nobody ever really follows or checks this account but lo and behold

The UI design in this Soyuz astronaut training software goes extremely hard.

A screenshot of a DOS program that simulates the software running on a Soyuz spacecraft. I have no idea what any of the data means.

Looks cool, though. It's giving me Nostromo vibes.

I'd love someone to make a sci-fi video game with this exact aesthetic.

Psychics need their brains calibrated regularly (1/n)

Circular laboratory. In the middle, a glass cylinderical chamber with two patients, with thick cables attached to their bodies. Beside them, two nurses. Outside, a doctor with a conical-shaped device surrounding her entire head, reading documentation; and another person looking at computer screens.

The electronic warfare organism's maw is a powerful emitter in radio and microwave frequencies. It acts as a radar and communications platform, as well as jams those of the enemy. It can also emit short intense pulses to fry electronics.
