such a technically terrible mystery story that put me off continuing with Holmes for a while 🤦‍♂️ ‘here’s the mystery setup, and now here’s a super boring backstory in America you could never have possibly have known that explains the whole motive away!’ ok Arthur, better luck next time

awards are largely meaningless baubles but I sure am happy for Widow’s Bay — a perfect Venn diagram of a show that feels like it was cooked up specifically to my taste. (as did Severance and Shape Island, in fact. Apple TV thank you for using my personal algorithm to shape your streaming service)

Ciggie Simon says: “feelin tough? gimme a puff!” yes! blow him away with a puff from your healthy lungs! thanks to recent Lockwoodland legislation, all delicious smoke sticks are now required to be sold unbranded, with only a happy, inviting face visible on the packet. #plasticine #poster #psa

on the softer side tho (and therefore less stop-mo friendly) is Scola Colour Clay which I’ve recently started using as well. more malleable without a lot of warming up first, plus I would say their colours can be a bit brighter and more pleasant: www.cowlingandwilcox.com/modelling-cl...

curiosity costs lives! according to recently fabricated statistics, sudden unexplained feline mortality in Lockwoodland is 473% more likely for households that query the status quo and/or imagine a better way of life. save the cat. stop asking questions. #plasticine #psa #cat

My favorite Sam Neil fact will always be that he designed a future Australian flag that replaces the union jack with the aboriginal flag for Event Horizon and insisted the film use it.

prepare your smile for inspection! here in Lockwoodland, we take our citizens’ happiness very seriously, with suggested (read: mandatory) smile-cracking exercises for anyone deemed at risk of contracting the dreaded “Betty Blues”. REMEMBER: feelings can be fatal. #plasticine #poster #psa

objectively very funny that #DoctorWho made such a lot of hoo-ha over their Bad Wolf co-production and Disney deal, with a fresh Season One, a big rebrand shortly after the last big rebrand, and a gigantic flashy new TARDIS... only to have to go off air and find a whole new team after three years.
