Torrent link! pastebin.com/raw/7E47uKxv You know, I don't even hate how the new Star Fox looks (Zelda looks much worse at times IMO) but I've played EDF so much that everytime nu-Slippy shows up I have a weird urge to shoot him down...

Nothing’s set in stone yet, he sampled a bunch of PS3/Wii games. Other titles sampled or highlighted by the staff include Mario Galaxy, Wii Fit, Opoona, Portal 2, The Last of Us or Rain. However, he did play Armored Core, Echo Night and Monster Hunter so a Souls game is not impossible IMO

If you're sad about 7th gen games being allowed on the show now then maybe this eyecatch from the newest episode will cheer you up!

Wii and PS3 (and probably other 7th gen systems as well) game are now eligible for the challenges. Will Cameraman Abe see his beloved (adult) Sherry Birkin in the Resident Evil 6 challenge? That remains to be seen... (They held a viewer poll and I voted for lifting the ban, sorry!)

They did a whole bunch of 5th/6th gen games. A few Tokimemo games, Mario 64, Crash 1, Ape Escape, MGS, all PSX Resis, WarioWare, EDF1, Monkey Ball, both Space Channel 5s, Monster Hunter, MMBN, VF2, Smash Bros., etc. The very next episode is most likely Rhythm Heaven on the GBA.

So there's a Scientific and Objective ranking of all the NES games making the rounds (although if that's what counts as Scientific and Objective, then you can call me a conspiracy theorist), but did you know that the GCCX staff conducted a similar experiment around Season 1? Here are their findings:

Just a litle heads-up since some people are getting the wrong idea: it's Tsuyoshi Kan, GCCX's producer and main narrator, not Arino. This MIGHT be a location scouting trip for the potential GCCX in USA 2 special later down the line, but nothing's been confirmed yet.

Whirlo is pretty much Prince of Persia meets Duck Tales meets Jump King. I would call it the "first precision platformer" but then I remembered that the likes of Super Mario The Lost Levels, Rick Dangerous or the first three Ghosts 'n Goblins predate it.

Back when we were starting out, we thought that two-parters would be too taxing to do and now we've done Megaman 5, Marchen Maze, the boat special, and are planning to do more in the future (I want to do Ape Escape and Clock Tower 2 this year, we'll see how things turn out). Never say never! (3/2)

c) It's 3 hours long and our translators currently don't want to commit to anything that's over 2 hours to avoid burnout or long periods of radio silence from us. And before any of you ask, our translators won't budge on doing full Messe/Saitama shows (3h each), just the 1h cuts. Sorry, I've tried!

LocationScouts @locationscoutsgccx.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

Monster Hunter? Not at the moment. a) Too new, so it might bring uneccessary attention on us from Gascoin/Fuji TV b) Too text-heavy (at least that's how it looks like, never played any of the games) (1/2)

Don't worry, The Sniper is definitely happening. I'm currently trying to convince our translators to do SkateCat as well (preferably back-to-back with The Sniper).
