in high school art we had to do an oral presentation on an artist, i was really excited i got to pick andy warhol and the more i learned about him the more disappointed i became. my presentation took about 30 seconds and most of it was the silence between "andy warhol..." and "wasn't very good."

a silly role in a silly movie from an all time performer helped bring a feeling of normalcy and belonging in my own home at a time when i was feeling increasingly apart from my family. it did more for me that i will likely ever know. thank you, tim curry
