It seems the people telling us that we just need to accept the proliferation of AI, and job losses associated, are the same as those telling us we couldn’t possibly transition from fossil fuels because ‘jobs’ and in either case, ‘let the world burn’ from the environmental footprint.

Profit is the result of labour-intensive creation and market based (ultimately human) consumption. Without labour, there’s no production, and without consumer demand, there’s no realization of value. The market is vulnerable to people, we need to realize it’s leverage we have against billionaires.
