Sometimes, the fact that I've been blessed to add to the canon of one of my favorite games just sneaks up on me and blows my mind. FOR THE HORDE.

An illustration of The Earth Mother deity of Tauren myth holding one of her beloved Shu'halo children after her love gave birth to them, as depicted in the short story Eyes of the Earth Mother. Drawn by Cory Godbey.

An illustration of Faerin Lothar, Lamplighter of the Hallowfall Arathi, as she stands ready to face the challenge that awaits her in the wide world of Azeroth, as depicted in the short story Faith and Flame. Drawn by Zoltan Boros.

Gonna be at ALA this weekend! My first time, I'm excited~ I will be the one looking slightly lost while singing Huntrix or Saja Boys songs to myself. More importantly, ARCs of Nubia will be at ALA this weekend!

I want to be able to say something articulate about the Locus Award for the Ignytes but I'm attempting edits in an existential spiral this evening. Thank you for seeing the work and for making our finalists part of both your reading and your broader literary community.

One major drawback to working with IP is not being able to participate in lore discussions online. *stares into the sun*

This crisis has been overwhelming in so many ways, esp for our toddler. Our family is so grateful for the assistance. I try to keep my child and their life offline as much as I can, to protect their privacy and to keep them safe, but this emergency (and asking for help) requires full disclosure.

Don’t comply. Don’t just react to the framework presented. Corps/institutions must actually challenge claims of discrimination of white males with statistical evidence. Initiatives respond to observable disparities, not hypothetical theories. We’ve been here before. Take. Them. To. Court.

Having a uterus is wild. Monthly pain on the same level as a heart attack. And I'm not even talking about the bullshit that comes with the Menstrual Cycle Expanded Edition, aka fibroids and endometriosis and shit. Thus! Prescription opioids for period cramps should be a thing. I said what I said.

It has been nearly two weeks, and I still don't know whether to hold Riot, Netflix, or Twenty One Pilots responsible for the psychic damage caused by The Line...

I write books about queer Black girls, if you're into that sort of thing. linktr.ee/LLMcKinney #HappyPride #PrideMonth #BlackBooks

The dedication from Escaping Mr. Rochester that reads “To the Black girls determined to live how they want and love who they want, you are the blueprint.“
