My co-teacher has our class do silent reading for 15 min. twice a week. It’s the most confusing and disheartening thing to watch. They’re completely incapable of being quiet and looking at their books for even a minute, and they got to pick their books. They can’t even pretend to be reading.

At urgent care for a cough that has progressively gotten worse since Wednesday. I coughed so much and so hard over the weekend that my lungs hurt. I’ve gone through a whole bottle of cough medicine. The lady who checked me in immediately blamed the weather.
