It’s so much. I know resources are strained and some people have higher needs but that doesn’t make others’ struggles invalid. We should be able to access patient transport. The worst is spending a fortune to get there and then the appointment could have just been a phone call…

physically, getting Ubers was just what she had to do for her sanity and she has to for her own appointments too as nobody is able to take her. Yeah parking charges suck but the issue is much larger. So few of these people really thinks about just how expensive chronic illness actually is

My mum was so worried about money when dad was sick because she used most of her holiday time and was having to uber to and from the hospital every day. She drives too, but the trek from the car park plus the parking cost being what they are, and everything already being so much mentally and

I want to paint and stitch and stream but instead I alternate between phone, iPad and kindle and all this time horizontal isn’t really helping my POTS either. The longer I spend lay down, the worse the attacks are when I sit up. It is so, so tedious. Aaaaa

I’m so frustrated with feeling lousy. I’m barely able to stay upright for an hour in total in recent days. Dealing with the chaos of a release day, purely on mobile devices was not how I wanted to do things :’)

I’ve been working on a cross stitch bookmark thing for all the books read in a year. Pattern lets you add up to 100. I read 96 last year. This year, I’ve only read 7 so far. I have the dilemma of doing it for this years books or last years 🤔

I woke up hallucinating my dad shouting for me. I called back “yeah?” before I realised. Last night I asked mum about his beer in the fridge. She said “doesn’t your dad want it?” without thinking. We cried together. We got his death certificate yesterday. It’s official. He’s gone. And I miss him.
