I also went on a walk organised by Petricor Collective at the Uni of Melbourne talking about now hidden waterways and what Melbourne was like before settlers turned up. We then drew a scene that impacted us the most. For me it was the eels and how they still migrate here.

I'm coeliac so I've missed most of the Melbourne queuing for food things until today. Itera in Brunswick, from Felix of Kudo fame, 100% gluten free, opened this week and I queued like I've been queuing for years. So damn good, worth every minute of the queue.

A friend and I go for a walk and then a little bird watching once a week in the Botanic Gardens, this morning we saw a great egret, quite a sight and uncommon in the gardens

Very serious case of the CBF's so stuck close to home today. Checked out Midi, which I'd never been to as looked a bit too cool for school. It is but the coffee is creamy and good and service friendly. Then popped by the Mirka Mora exhibition which was small but worthwhile.

Today was Rowena Corner Store. Its a Richmond institution that I went to once when I first moved here then... Never went back. I've popped back a bit recently and its just such a lovely vibe. Good coffee too. Then wandered some small lanes back home admiring the cute cottages and gardens.

A clay footy player glued to a wooden electricity pole. Its pretty cute, has an Aussie footy for s head, but, it can't decide who to support, wearing a black and white jumper with a brown and yellow scarf.
