I remember at Safeway we would make hot rotisserie chickens & then put them in the cooler so we could sell them as cold rotisserie chickens (different bar code) primarily to get around this

Here’s the @ttu.edu censorship memo. It refers to “SOGI” for “Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity” throughout, but never defines what that means. Seems… vague? Presumably this ought also to ban all content that “centers on”/includes straight+cis people. Since that, too, is “SOGI” content. No?

Different kind of work today: prepping for @lizmassa.bsky.social’s watercolor monotype workshop for my college students. She’ll be teaching them all sorts of painterly monotype techniques using Daniel Smith watercolors, water-soluble graphite and mark-making tools before I teach them intaglio.
A watercolor guide of 15 cards lays on a glass light box. In the background, small trays of watercolor paints have been doled out into 8 (of 9) total colors. Students will use warm and cool primary colors, as well as three neutral pigments to create painterly monotype prints.
