I figured that out three elections ago

Vernal Equinox is one of my favorite times of year

A variety of hibiscus. A red open flower with a large central stamen fluffy with pollen. Deep green leaves with three lobes and a serrated edge. Shadows behind on a stucco wall from late evening sun. The orange red flower and leaves glow where the sun reaches them.

An odd little cape Marguerite with a dark purple center in a circle of lighter purple false petals. The middle of each petal is pinched together, leaving a small circle of open petal at the end. It looks as though a small ring of satellites surround the round center. The mossy bricks of the flower bed and concrete walkway are underneath.

Two bright purple violets nested just above their dark heart shaped leaves. The flowers are the size of a thumbnail, the leave a little bigger than a quarter. Below are the bricks of the flowerbed and the much painted step up to my home. Different layers of color show through from wear: a bright turquoise and deep red Nestled against the step are the bright lime green tiny leaves of baby tears, with a few dead leaves and the thin hose for my drip irrigation.

In the fall of 2019 @mishacollins.bsky.social requested Gishers to create a burnable image of our deepest fears. I sent this. Misha, did you burn it with the rest?

Images burned into a small board. A few voting machines showing Democrats ahead of Republicans with network lines to a transmitter/modem. Additional input to the the modem comes from an oil pump superimposed over a sickle. Output from the modem is a leader board showing Republicans winning.

Beneath the tank there are helmeted, faceless riot troops with protestors laying injured before them. The protestors signs on the ground say 'Rule of Law', 'Truth', 'Justice', and 'Love'. Beyond the protestors, the White House is fenced with razor wire and a flag flies from the top labeled 'Old Oil'.
The center holds an outsized figure of a trooper in a gas mask with a WWII peaked officer's cap, wearing a long trench coat and wielding a huge curved sword and an automatic rifle. I hand copied the figure from Letitia and Leo Taguma's murals at Denver Intl. Airport.

Exactly. I have questions about the EO's and how to combat them, but it's emotionally exhausting and triggering to see how goddam MEAN they are. I have family that are gay, transgender(ftm) and no binary; not to mention disabilities. My nephew posted this:
