An explanation on why Big Walk isn't available on Xbox. bigwalk.game/xbox

Regarding Xbox

In June 2026 we announced that the release of Big Walk would be limited to computers, Switch 2 and PS5. Since then, we have received many messages and comments, asking about a future Xbox release. We would like to address those questions here:

We have made the decision not to release Big Walk on Xbox, in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft, and their designation of Microsoft Games (and Xbox) as a priority boycott target. If you need help understanding our motives, we would recommend reading about why Microsoft is a BDS priority target, the successes this kind of pressure has already had on Microsoft, and especially, watching this great introductory piece by People Make Games.

It has always been our intention for Big Walk to be played by groups of friends, and we know that keeping the game off Xbox runs counter to those intentions. This decision means that some people will miss out on playing Big Walk with their friends, and we understand the disappointment we’re causing. We are disappointed too.

We would love for people to be able to play the game on Xbox, but not until Microsoft and/or Xbox have been removed as BDS boycott targets.

We’ve made this decision with the belief that meaningful change can be made in the world, that coordinated collective action can confront even the most powerful interests, and that one day, Palestine will be free.

Adobe Relight is what AI should have always been, a small tool/plugin/filter that does a small very useful thing to help an artist with a much larger human made project. Not promoting it, to be clear. Just saying: why didn't we start and stop here for gen ai, instead of being you know... evil.

I feel like that Dress Maker game could genuinely inspire a whole new generation of artists in game dev. I was looking at it, and while there are obvious diff between it and the software? There is a lot that of knowledge, especially understanding patterns, to something like Marvelous Designer.

Sometimes I miss WoW, but their marketing for Forever is kind of odd in addition to things a dev said that I think is being misrepresented. It can feel like Blizzard's own products are at odds with each other and its all just wow with a different hat.

Watched Seeking Persephone on Peacock and I'd like that time back. I saw it and went "oh white people yearning on the english countryside, why not", but It was boring & so dry. It felt off, a temu version of a Jane Austin novel adaptation if it was written by an extremely trad wifey american author.

Zelda, it was my dad and I’s game. My family was poor, so we didn’t get a nintendo for years after it’d been out. It was the first time I’d ever experienced something like an rpg. I also think it was the first time I ever had “headcanon.” The memories are fuzzy, but the feelings are still strong.

Was checking out the Netflix Jane Austen stills and like, why can’t we get more fun adaptations than “white people yearning” Jane Austen novel based films are a dime a dozen Sure some are more memorable than others but at the end of the day, it’s just white people looking sad while they yearn.

Truffle keeps flipping his water fountain and it's going to ruin the floor because of the water. I've tried a few in addition to playing the fountain in something to help with spillage. Nothing helps. People suggest a one piece ceramic fountain, but atm I can't afford to buy one so I'm at a loss.
